@@Ghost19_ Not sure if I can describe it very well, but basically, when you turn a side, the pieces all go in a circle, so they make it so that the pieces are all rounded to fit that circle perfectly. It's actually really cool, I took apart my 7x7 once to see how it worked and it's a similar idea, I could see how the pieces fit together and would slide against one another.

imo if you know how to solve a 5x5 or 6x6, you're pretty much all set. if you know how to create centers, edges, and fix oll parity you can think of the 21x21 as a larger version of a 5x5/6x6

Hey John You can do it with only 5x5x5 knowledge if you also learn center commutators, plus doing the ring thing he showed in the video including bringing the other pieces for the bar from the previous rings down for easier insertion helps a lot with larger puzzles like this.

I might try a cube simulator! Also it would definitely be slower to reassemble than to just solve. It would be harder to find the right piece, I still only solve one piece at a time. this makes the number cube i got as a freebie promotion from a movie back in the early 2000's look like a joke, and that cube made me crazy. it was a standard rubik's cube, but also with 1-9 on the faces, and you had to get the colors and the numbers in order.

Wow just wow! Aside from how awesome it is to solve these cubes, the engineering of Rubik's Cubes just amazes me. The repair you did, putting pieces back in, showed the internal structure of the pieces, and that gave me a clue as to how intricate and balanced the structure of the cube is. Not having tried to solve any Rubik's Cube myself, I found this fascinating.

Jesus, I was dreading edge parity for you. I hated doing that on a 5x5, found it miserable on a 7x7 (to be fair, I've only ever had a VCUBE 7x7), and couldn't imagine what you'd get. Honestly, I never wanted to solve larger than a 5x5 because it's a chore. And DAMN when you got that double center pop, those are some absurd looking pieces. 23:35 "Hope I don't mess up now!" instant jam, tries to realign, forces it and messes it up again. bruh lmao... also that editing on the fix xD Anyway, thanks for the video! Was entertaining. :)

The way I solve the last 2 centers on bigger cubes like 7x7+ is by switching rows with few right pieces with rows that have many correct pieces. Especially in the beginning, it's more efficient than commutator the larger the cubes get. After it's no longer possible to solve pieces intuitively like that, I use commutators
