I also have a question how to take the most advantage of color neutrality because I often see myself spending a lot of time choosing in which color should I do. Btw really useful video
@JPerm5 жыл бұрын
For color neutrality you should focus on colors that have the most cross pieces attached to the center, like a red edge touching the red center. I go over this a bit in color neutral example solves. This usually reveals one of the best crosses, and makes first pair tracking a lot easier.

@The_Cuber Жыл бұрын
Summary of video: What side to face, depending on how much regrips there are and how efficient it is(is it finger trickable). Saving regrips is finding solutions that have less regrips(make you change your current hand position or grip). The first move of the cross is usually slower when you do b and f when you lift the cube because it has a regrip at the start which slows down your momentum. If there is only pieces in bottom layer you can just fix it by using replacement technique or other advanced cross techniques. You also avoid B moves in solve and if there is no option then try to do a R or L moves to setup to a B move to speed up the cross without regrips. If you want to start the solve with F/B moves face the white side and do the solution which helps minimize regrips. A common mistake for cubers is to trying to avoid b moves when there is a lot of pieces in one side instead you can minimize effect of B move by setting it up using R or L moves. Go over mulitple options to solve a cross to help solve efficiently like changing sides or moving different pieces. Lastly, use the replacement technique which is just replacing a unnecessary piece with a needed piece and put the un-needed piece into the cross at the end of the cross solve. I hope you found this summary useful!

@@rosiskharel389 that’s because cross efficiency literally just comes down to practice. What I do every day is an average of 100 cross solutions blind folded, not only does it help with the cross, it forces me to plan my cross in inspection which helps a ton with cross to F2L transition. It can get frustrating at first because you likely won’t do the cross correctly first try, but I promise after a few day you will be doing the cross correctly all the time no problem. Hey idk if you'll answer this, but for inspection for the cross, do you think of where you're going to MOVE the pieces or do you think of the algorithm order that you have to solve the pieces in. I can complete the cross in inspection but I'm just slow after i get about halfway through because i forgot what pieces needed to go next and froze, as well as extremely slowed down so i could see what i was doing. I've been cubing for a year now and have only gotten 20.695 and am looking to get sub 20 (im 2 look PLL rn but hoping to learn the rest) im fast at everything but the cross and always struggle to have a full mental image on what turns i need to make to solve the cube as fast and efficiently as possible. (i main the Moyu RS3M 2020 btw, yours ofc) Thank you so much if you can help me with this

what I actually have to learn in order to properly follow this video: flick my fingers backwards

Extra tip: if you plan on starting the cross with (U2 D2), you can rotate y2 and just start with E2 which makes fingertricks way easier imo

What's y?
@doiz-gd85052 жыл бұрын
@@waldolemmer y2 means rotate the cube 180 degrees, y means 90 degrees
