Me too. I really hated 5x5 due to hardware (qiyi something). But after getting a magnetic one, I love 5x5 more than 3x3. I agree with you that hardware matters in bigger cubes.nice video, btw.

For my 5x5 pb, I got easy first 2 centers, one cross edge already paired, and as I finished L4C, it paired up my last cross edge, I had 3 already made, really easy edge pairings, no parity, and essentially ZZ (all my edges were oriented). I got a 1:24, when I was averaging 1:55, and hadn't gotten any sub 1:40's before

Should I get the air SM or the GTS3M weilong. My current main is the gan air (Non-Magnetized) and I like it, just want my first magnetic cube. The feel that i prefer is the smooth feeling.
