When i went to Fuerteventura i was amazed at seeing the dunes and kites on the way to corralejo on the coach, The colour of the sand mixed with the blue sea was idyllic to me the whole island has an amazing landscape.

Hi JP We enjoyed the video however a camera shot or video will never ever give You the true scale and majesty of this area.We have over the years walked many,many miles over the dunes,different days ,different scenarios,no two days the same, You really have to go to this paradise to experience the many facets of this natural wonder,also We have met goats and camels with their shepherds,truly memorable and a must visit when on the island.Keep up the good work and We're still hopeful to be over this Dec. A great place. We've spent many a happy hour wandering the dunes from Corralejo all the way down to Montana Rona. Often trudging them barefoot - makes you feel quite intrepid especially when your eyes start to play tricks on your perception of distances and inclines.

Just a confirmation that today, 30th April, Spain has extended the ban on Third Countries, which includes the UK, from coming to Spain unless for the strict reasons they have specified which don't include tourism, vistiing your holiday home, looking for property etc. Valid until 31st May.
@JPinFuerteventura3 жыл бұрын
Yes I read that too. They are cutting off their nose to spite their face as my grandmother would have said. Stopping Brits but continuing to allow German, French, Italian, Polish and Scandinavian tourists in. It is all political, punishing the naughty UK for leaving the spiteful EU.
@johndrew14073 жыл бұрын
@@JPinFuerteventura Not punishing, just applying the law to a Third Country, which the UK is after Brexit. We chose to leave so why should we be treated any differently to any other Third Country.
@JPinFuerteventura3 жыл бұрын
The difference is that Brits have traditionally been by far Spain's biggest group of tourists - so Spain needs them to survive. It is Spain, not the EU, that is imposing further restrictions to 31st May. Leaving the EU hasn't stopped the ability to holiday/travel within the EU, only the right to live and work.

Even more bizarre now, because of the State decision that the A.frican immigrants must be moved from their current accomodation, without any notice or consultation with Antigua Ayuntamiento, they are moving them to hotels and other tourist accomodation in Caleta de Fuste. They council are up in arms about this because they feel it will kill the tourist trade in Caleta by turning it into a mini A.frica.
@stratman78103 жыл бұрын
What I forgot to put is that the ones being moved there are in quarantine because there are infections amongst them. The hotel, according to the reports, is the Costa Caleta bang in the middle. If this goes the way as in other islands they will keep leaving the hotel and wander around with no one able to stop them.

Just when you think things can't get any crazier, how about the new law that bars, cafes and restaurants must register the name, surname, ID, telephone number, date and time of service of all customers served inside the establishments. I did check the date and no, it didn't come out on April 1st. Common sense will prevail, I think, and it will be recinded shortly.
