Must have been one of the best small concerts Kiss did. Pauls voice is just past it's best year but he's singing amazingly here. Just shows how Kiss stripped back of all the tricks, bells and whistles is still a incredibly powerful live band

I WAS THERE!!! This was THE CLOSEST show to seeing them in New York City clubs in the early days! UNBELIEVABLE ENERGY! The Revenge album was out, and they were out for their "pound of flesh"! This was an industry event for new, up and coming HEAVY MUSIC Bands, and KISS received a Lifetime Achievement Award. I can't say enough about this show. This video brought me right back to that ENERGY FILLED NIGHT OF KISS ROCK-N-ROLL! Thanks, man! God bless and take care...

@dr.darkroom Hi "Doc" LOL! Eric is a drummers drummer... This guy is comfortable playing anything from Gene Krupa jazz stuff to Alice Cooper stuff! (Who he played for before he played with KISS) I actually got to know both Eric and Bruce pretty well, when my band opened for both of their bands several times! Once when they had a band together even! It's too bad that KISS became a "TV Soap Opra" with all of the bickering and name calling... Anyway, thanks for the reply man! Long live ROCK-N-ROLL! God bless and take care...

Seems they had finally found their ‘identity’ outside of the makeup. Unpopular opinion, but I think it’s a shame they put the makeup back on, and kept it on after Ace and Peter were gone. They changed course right when they were really getting the whole ‘unmasked’ thing down, and that’s a real bummer to me

I wish they played these songs today. I know they’re a lot older now but as much as I love them to this day, they’re just going through the motions. Here they seem really into what they’re playing & they’re having fun. Not today. It’s so obvious. I’d be willing to bet Tommy & Eric would love to playing these songs instead of the stale setlist they’re playing today. Just my two cents 🙄

This is awesome footage. High quality and sounds great. Was this filmed by MTV? They seemed to report from this Forum every single year, huh? Let's not forget Kiss was in big decline that year. Despite Alive III being released, the band was unable to tour to promote the record due to lack of demand/interest. This version of the band was playing at a high level but hardly anybody in the music world cared and the lack of radio/sales/promotion impacted Kiss negatively.

1992 was their last USA arena tour that was plagued with attendance problems, they spent the next few years 1993-1995 doing special events like this, it wasn't until 1996 when the original line-up Reunited, that KISS returned to the larger venue hockey rinks in the USA.
