It's been quite a while but this is the third time I am playing Runebound (3rd edition) on my channel. This time using the official solo rules/scenarios that ship with the last expansions "Unbreakable Bonds".

Hello and thanks for Runebound :) Rest action --> roll 5 dice, always, If a hero rests in the wilderness, then he or she rolls 5 terrain dice; for each die with a terrain symbol that matches his or her hex, the hero heals one damage.

Thanks, Vladimir. I keep forgetting this detail... but usually I rest immediately after the "emergency" rest, so it doesn't really matter but of course you are totally right!

Totally with you on that! Definitely needs some overlay (or extension) boards, more heroes, more scenarios and definitely more basic encounters.

Great video. At 6:08 you placed your hero after the asset cards, not before. I live this game, but the content is so expensive on the 2nd hand market!

i noticed youre just using 5 tokens for the enemies are you sure you dont use all 6? it doesnt say in the unbreakable bonds rulebook that you withhold the 6th for Round 2...but im assuming its implied yes?

looking at the "Spending Surges" - with the Razorwing - pretty sure you did make it harder on yourself than the rules say by playing 'smart'. You trigger same cost surges from top to bottom, so he would have lost the second surge. The game is hard enough - don't do the baddies any favours! :) Thanks for doing this - excellent production as usual and I can't get enough Runebound.

Hmm rereading it actually looks like maybe both tokens should have been in the 1 space and both been spent 1 on each surge ability.which is basically what you ended up doing. I think you were doomed regardless with a combat on your first adventure. Very brave :) cheers

Yeah - the rules say to sum up surges but in this case it only had 1-surge-abilities. The question remains: what should it have done first?

Actually I just found it: indeed you are resolving those abilities from bottom to the top, so intuitively I played it right ;-)
