@Negasso Kadir well you could have said that maybe 2-3 years ago. But not anymore. I can separate the grain from the chaff. Almost. Look there was a time I wanted to have a high privilege account in a really big bank like JP Morgan Chase. You know the one that has fancy stuff like unlimited check book high rewards card. The high 'privilege" account as it is called that big customers have but I have experienced so bad customer service that today if my bank keeps my little money safe, does not harass me and allows me to withdraw if when I need it I will be happy, in fact more than happy. In fact I was thinking to switch over to Indian old style PSB but cannot. They are still the best for people with little money like me. So even if like simple and easy way the CEO speaks I do not care as I will not have any account there.

How would I sound if I said hey you are everything that I’m looking for and more, but sorry you didn’t get a college degree? I would sound stupid! But it happens every day. It has nothing to do with jobs, it has everything to do with class level and the envy of other who are in tons of debt who feel you should be in debt also.

I think it actually all deals down to how law suits work and how this country is as a whole. A degree is nothing more then proof on what you worked hard for plus it acts like some sort of insurance for both you and the employer. That degree is going to guarantee you the correct amount of pay you should be receiving. it sucks because I believe knowledge shouldn't have a price tag but in the work field it's sadly necessary.

Plus we see only certain last names and ivy league alumni get the top positions. They've been having trouble the last 10 years recruiting ppl look up tech vs finance on here. Goldman Sachs is allowing casual dress now because the brightest minds dont wanna wear a tight ass suit to work everyday and pay expensive dry cleaning every week. Yesterday I literally just went to a seminar where my city has a program to get ppl to take the SIE to get into finance because the finance industry has so many open positions nobody wants to do it. Of course most of them are bank teller and call center jobs. Demeaning jobs that pay 12-15 an hour when you've spent thousands to get a degree isnt worth it.

Politics and business go hand in hand, policy effects how business are run and businesses dictate how some policies are made. @@keshav4203 www.amazon.com/Big-Short-Inside-Doomsday-Machine/dp/0393338827 The most obvious is fraud. Banks created, marketed and approved mortgages to low income individuals who had NO way of repaying their loans. It wasn't accidental. There wasn't a low-level staffer who approved loans without his superior's knowledge. It was deliberate, intentional fraud. Separately, these banks coerced the ratings agency to issue AAA status ratings to collateralized debt obligations (CDOs) which were stuffed with those bad mortgages. Those CDOs were knowingly sold on to other investors with these false AAA ratings. Again, this wasn't an accident. It happened with the full knowledge, direction and approval from guys like Dimon.
