We are the soviet empire in the late 1980s. The empire's ending doesn't mean it has to be catastrophic with unrest but the government can no longer fund itself without deficit spending. earnings will Stagnate with consumption stagnating, so a stagflation most likely involves real assets going up, but not financial assets. Things like Real Estate and Gold will definitely rise, while Oil might fall with lack of consumption, and along with that, equity.

Some people are their own worst enemies in terms of food shopping, the store brand is almost always as good - stores like ALDI etc. Buy what is on sale. Also people should be able learn to cook basic things soup, pasta with sauce with some chicken or other protein source. Beans/Legumes are inexpensive protein source. Vegetables, fiber, nuts in their diet. Do you own shopping it doesn't take that long. If people too often go for convenience like Door Dash (it's a rip off , order is wrong, food is cold, fees ridiculous and they want an otrageous tip on top of it because their employer doesn't pay a reasonable wage and cover expenses like wear and tear on vehicles, cost of gas and maintenance. Be smarter. Cook a large amount and separate into portions/separate meals and freeze it. Eat healthier, less fast food. Brown bag your lunch. The Lord Helps Those Who Help Themselves.
