Everybody is talking about Ran Takahashi's offensive prowess but his defensive capabilities are on a different level. Playing Japan is like playing a team with 3 liberos (Yamamoto, Ishikawa and Ran) and 3 setters ( Ran, Ishikawa and Sekita). This by far is the best team Japan has ever assembled.

I love that their offense has become more balanced. No longer relying on just 1 or 2 players to score. Others pick up when one player is struggling. And more importantly their MBs really stepped up for this game. They are a joy to watch every single time.

Yuji Nishida has a spectacular showing today compared to the game against Iran.He did play cleverly as expected of him that he'll bounce back with better results. Kentaro Takahashi and Taishi Onodera also showed us RJN MB full force today. Furthermore, Yuki Ishikawa, Ran Takahashi, Masahiro Sekita, and Tomohiro Yamamoto are all equally stunning and amazing. We love them for that.

What a great game from both teams... sekita mvp was well deserved, serbias blocks were on point, yuji had an exceptional game compared to the last game (70%attack efficiency with 24 points) Rans improvement is visible crystal clear, japans middles did a great job tooo and ishikawa? That man is exceptional... his out of system attacks are soo good.. and last but not least yamamoto is a monster like how do you even dig those balls... Simply exceptional game 👏👏

there was a set in which sekita managed to catch the ball, before it fell to the ground, in the same way that ishikawa does with his foot. Different shots, but the same ways of receiving the ball. it was an incredible coincidence, especially being on sets that highly influenced Japan's victory. I love watching this team play. Sad that shot isn’t in this video, it was amazing to watch

There's no MVP in the team Japan all played their role brilliantly, Yamamoto digged a loooot of super hard punches ball from Serbia, the Setter Sekita sending the ball for all hitters very well, Kentaro gave a fresh air on the 3rd and 4th game which was nice his blocks and middle attack made Japan having so much options when they were on the attacking mode, Nishida even though some of his serve stucked on the net or out, but still he has the magic hands, Ran, Onodera and Yuki also played well....
