I recommend "don't look back in anger" by Oasis. If you get the music video it also features the late, great Patrick Macnee as the black taxi driver and he pops up throughout the video. He played British secret agent John Steed (a sort of James Bond figure) in the 1960s and 70s TV series 'The Avengers' famous for his trademark bowler hat, umbrella and vintage Bentley car. He became a cult figure, as did the TV series because of their unique visual styles, and so was also used in another British music video, this time for a group called the 'The Pretenders'. The song is called "Don't get me wrong", another good song. Lead singer, Chrissie Hines, was a fan of the visual style of the old TV series and recreated it for the music video. The real John Steed ( there are some imposters trying to trick her) doesn't appear until the end in merged 1960's footage from the TV series.

Hi Joel, great start to the day. I wasn't a fan as such of Oasis but the album this came off - What's the story morning glory is a masterpiece. It was perfect for the time - mid 90's explosion of Brit pop guitar bands. If you only listen to that album you would be blown away. They had success before this with a few Brit pop classics on the album before. Liam the lead singer and Noel the lead guitarist are brothers. They never got on and since Oasis ended they went their separate ways🤦 Both are still making music. Listen to Don't look back in anger, cast no shadow, champagne supernova and roll with it. ❤️

The song is essentially a love song. But it wasn't written as a love song to his then partner, but rather as a love song to himself. It's about finding your way back to loving yourself. Finding the inner strength and listening to the inner voice that's trying to lead you to better self-esteem. He said in an interview that rather than an inner voice he thought of it as an imaginary friend coming to save you. As for the references, "The road is winding" means it won't be a straight forward journey. "The lights are blinding" means he can't see the road ahead. It's a great song as is, but once you understand the meaning behind the lyrics it takes on a whole new, very dark meaning.

I was thinking surely you've heard wonderwall somewhere 😂 was waiting for you to recognise it aha I'm not really a huge fan of the song but I would've been very surprised if it wasn't at least a bit familiar. Anyway great vid as always ❤

Check out Live Forever next it's killer, probably their best track. You should definitely check more britpop out with bands such as The Verve, Blur, Suede and Pulp.

Great reaction, check Oasis out Live, they were much better live than studio, Live Forever at Maine Road 96 would be my suggestion

Noel never really let’s you know what the meanings are to his songs. The fans tend to find their own meanings but their songs mean so much to so many people…

Everyone taking about the ‘90s , educate yourselves by going back to 60s 70s 80 s. Great music without the need to be explicit. There was always another way .

You need to react to live Oasis performances. This song is probably not in any Oasis fans top 10 favourite Oasis tunes so there is so much more for you to listen too! Live Forever at Maine Road is a must or even Slide Away at Knebworth. Famously a fantastic live band.

This song was about John Lennon...Wonderwall was his pet name for his wife Yoko Ono......Oasis was heavily influenced by the Beatles. There are references to them throughout the song suuch as Backbeat which was a film about the Beatles......Liam was singing about John

The idea is you put your own meaning to the lyrics. It is basically about feeling confused while navigating love and life. We defo want to see lots of music reactions this summer.

Live Forever is one of the best. But really they’re all great. These brothers are the pride of Manchester. Got to see them on their last tour before they split. Wonderful band
