Hi JPS - the generosity of subscribers is amazing. Just a point to note about U.K./ European voltages and USA voltages. The kettles sent to you will be rated at 220v / 240v and as you will be aware USA domestic voltage is supplied at 110v .. the kettles ‘may’ work but will be very slow to heat. It might be worth investing in a voltage step up transformer which would have 110v input and double the output to 220v .. for anyone sending electrical products from the UK or Europe just a note to bear in mind - best 👍🏻

Fun to watch Joel, some really generous gifts there and generous reply too! Just bear in mind with Marmite less is more when you first try it. Then if you do like it you can try how much more you feel ok with the taste of. When you see someone scoop a huge dollop and then attempt to eat it off the spoon it's like NOOOOOOO!! So start with a little on toast to see what it is like.

Love to see a video you introducing your family and seeing the reactions

Hahaha! My American friends who came to Ireland had a similar reaction to Irn Bru when they tried it, saying it tastes like bubblegum. Totally like watching a kid at Christmas. How lucky are you!

Love watching your unboxings. It would be interesting to see some of your friends reactions to some of the snacks you get. Keep up the good work. Sue x

its a hot water bottle, when I was a child our house did not have central heating, the only heating was an open fire in the kitchen. So when you went to bed your bedroom and your bed was cold. Fill that fill of boiling water and put it in your bed 20 minutes before you go to bed to warm your bed, then it also helps to keep you warm when you go to bed, I used to put mine down by my feet to keep them warm on cold nights.

Make sure you add some cool water to it too, if it comes undone you’ll get scalded in bed lol
@paulknox9992 жыл бұрын
@@sejbomb we used to leave a gap at the top the squeeze all the air out before putting the plug in. then used to wrap it in a pillow case so it didnt burn you. Never had one leak or split but yes if it did you would have been scalded.

Hi Joel! ***WARNING!!!*** ONLY USE THE KETTLE TO BOIL WATER IN!!! DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ELSE IN IT!!! Cadbury drinking chocolate can be made with water or milk, tastes better with milk but if you've ran out and can't get to a shop! Add sugar to taste, if required! Hot water bag comment made me chuckle! The not water bottle is mainly used to warm the bed up, mainly before central heating and electric blankets came about! As others have suggested, wrap a towel round it and use it on an injury! Last but not least, YES!!! It would be great to see your family and friends/roommate reacting to some of the items you've received!!!!! Take care and enjoy, see you soon, in your next video!

It's a kettle, not a tea kettle. LOL. A tea pot is used to put the hot water in from the kettle.

I think they are called tea kettles in the US the same way that glasses are called eyeglasses. They like to be specific cos they don't make coffee with it. Remember it's a much faster way to boil water for cooking if you need it than on the stove. You'll probably need a UK/US plug adapter to use them tho.
