I had no idea they did the Valet Switch feature on these... over 20 years ago I started doing a kill switch altogether on my Head Unit's Ignition Switch wire hidden in my vehicles (the back, never in the front of the vehicle) after a mechanic shop screwed with my system tuning and caused damage they refused to cover. There was NO reason for them to even turn on the radio/HU. 'Valet' for friends & family.

Could you possibly connect a reverse trigger wire to the valet so the music gets quite while in reverse then back to normal when not in reverse. I know some newers cars already do this.

Wait a min now...that's a good idea 💡 but with the switch one side goes to valet input and the other side goes to ground so it may take some figuring out but it may work

@@jptheinstallguyI guess you would need to wire a relay between the ground and the valet input. Then use the reverse trigger to switch the relay.

Do these have the line out converter built into these amps? I have a 16 Camaro and been looking to upgrade my system again. Been wanting to get an amp with the loc built in so I don’t have to use the line output converter in line with the system

Did you not watch the video it literally says yes it has a line output converter that's what the 16 pin connector is he literally says you don't have to use an Loc if you use the 16 pin connector what's a four wires coming out of it what are the eight wires coming out of it if it's the multi-channel

But in short yes bro this does have a loc built-in that's what does 16 pin connector put the four wires coming out that is your speaker wire input for your built-in Loc

So technically it's not a loc but yes this amp gives you both options for input low level rca and high level speaker inputs, both can be used for signal

Thanks for the response love the videos. I’ve used amps with high level inputs they weren’t audio control amps and they didn’t sound as good with high level inputs. But used the lc8i with it and night and day difference. I’ve used an lc8i and I love it. But I haven’t seen any other reviews besides your on the new lineup for this line. I have a premium Bose sound system and have all the speaker’s swapped out except the rear deck. And just got an lc 1. 800 mono block and run the mids and highs off this

Ughhhh. I was hoping the 600.4 did 150x4 @4ohm and 200x4 @2ohm and the monos are still not 1ohm stable 🤦🏻‍♂️ So 100x4 @4ohm and 150x4@2ohm is going to be a tad much for most tweeters on the market but not enough for most mids, esp if you try to run 2 on each channel.

1 ohm kills the dampening factor and efficiently. audiocontrol has always been about SQ not spl that being said i spent my money on the LC SERIES and got new duel 2 ohm woofers.
