The hardest parts for me was prying top panel off without the proper tools. I broke a couple of clips but the thing is so over engineered the remaining clips are plenty. Second hardest part the clips at the bottom of the old radio when pulling that out theres 3 and they are very strong. I broke the middle one. Lastly once you get the black wire grounded to the steel frame, you'll barely have enough slack in the wire to reach your hand around and plug in the new radio. I broke the ground connection but it still works fine. Wish me luck! I recommend wiring an extention to the black wire for extra slack.

I have one of these since 2018. Nice but not without bugs. The earlier firmwares had HVAC issues (it wanted to run HOT). Plus updating firmware is a PITA since the port is behind the kit so you gotta take EVERYTHING out. Do yourself a favor and connect a right-angle micro-USB data cable and leave it accessible without taking the dask apart for future updates.
