I have to say that I saw the former video where the Jive appeared for the first time and it was one of the pedals that I liked the most. This tape saturation sound has been on my head for a long time and I've even considered to get the Strymon Deco because of it (and all the rest of the goodies). Well... this video convinced me to send for a Jive and the guys at JPTR Fx were really cool and easy to deal with. Let's see when it arrives if it lives up to the hype.

I'd use it at the beginning of the chain and the compressors towards the end. But it's a matter of personal taste

According to the JPTR FX website, the Jive runs up to 18v for "even more headroom" and the Jive Micro "runs with ONLY 9V!!!". Anyone compared the two pedals to hear if the lack of a 18v option on the Jive Micro makes a difference to the sound?

I never run the Jive in 18v. Maybe I should but I like where it breaks up @ 9V
