I currently overload the mic input of an old akai reel to reel to get anything from a nice drive to a nasty fuzz, but the weight and hassle was always a frustration, this pedal is genuinely a godsend for my rig!

just got mine along with the Warlow and I gotta say, this is an excellent demonstration of the Jive, very representative of what it can do. I ran the Warlow (op amp fuzz - basically instant doom / crush in a box, but without the mud!) into the Jive, right into the front of the amp. sounds awesome. haven't had a chance to try sticking it in the FX loop yet, but I expect it would do a great job at saturating and adding warmth / pleasing grit. I don't have an attenuator / load box, and haven't tried recording my cab with mics (2x12 Greenback, half open) so can't speak to that... yet :) my only gripe would be that I don't have a manual card in the box? no big deal though, as I was able to find out the info in this video and on the website. I was fiddling with switch combinations since I didn't realize that the lower switch overrides the one above it. does the bottom one bypass both of the upper switches or just the middle one? anyway, it's super responsive and comes with lots of neat "extras" in the box. the glow in the dark picks are ridiculously good quality -- better than the standard Dunlop stuff I typically use. the thick purple PCB "business card" included to make your own DIY pedal is delightful. I'll have to ask about a few component values, as I'm squinting at the one edge and not sure. great quality. I'll be sure to check out the rest of the lineup -- which I can maybe indulge in after I sell off three or four production fuzz pedals that I no longer have use for. :) cheers!

I thought the amp on its own sounded already really good. Then you kick in the Jive and it becomes even „more gooder“🤤

Do the switches stack or is it just one at a time? Seems to be conflicting views on reviews. Thanks.

You can activate all at once but you will hear only the strongest diode that is activated

The push or pad pedal 🤘🏽 I like the under drive🤘🏽and that’s no jive this looks like my kinda drive.

Give me your wise advice please! I use the Jive as an always on pedal with my bass. Better place it before or after the gain chain??? Is there a secret sauce for that?

If you use it clean ish at the end and as a dirt then first i would use it as last
