Hi! Thank you for watching my video and for giving such wonderful feedback! I especially loved how you appreciated the rawness of my video - with no background music and just the natural sounds of the environment. Not a lot of people like those sort of videos and so your feedback made me really happy. THANK YOU! Stayed at this place just a month ago, the rooms are quite spacious compared to your typical business hotel, especially with the separate toilet and shower/tub. Being only 20 feet away from the Akihabara station entrance was just too convenient. The breakfast buffet at Jonathans was a good deal, and there is surprisingly a lot of places to eat/drink around Akihabara that's not on the main strip of Chuo-dori. Despite the massive crowd outside during the day and the train station/tracks right behind the hotel, it's still very quiet inside the rooms. My only complaint and tip to anyone staying here is that the laundry machines does not have a large capacity, so don't try to put in more than 3-4 days worth of clothes at once. The laundry baskets provided are a good indicator of how much laundry the machine could take at once. For $130-150 USD based on current exchange rate and time of the year ($1 USD -> ¥150), I highly recommend this hotel.

Hi! Thank you so much for watching my video! Yes, I totally agree with you! This hotel is really one of the most cost-effective hotels I have stayed in. The location is so convenient and accessible, plus the hotel itself offers spacious rooms and good facilities. It is a hotel I would want to keep coming back to. Indeed, highly recommended! 😊

I'm looking at prices for next month a bit more expensive at 163 but the bigger bathroom is what really tempt me. Most business hotel has those pre-fab tiny bathroom just too small for me to feel comfortable. It is also almost double the price of those so touch decision lol.

Hi! Thank you for watching my video! Yes, I agree with you. Prices have really increased now, much more if you are planning to stay on a weekend. But if you want a bigger bathroom, I guess it could be worth it. Not a lot of business hotels offer that extra space so it could really be the deciding factor for you. Good luck on your decision! I am sure regardless of your choice, you will still enjoy Tokyo. 😊

Yes, this is a good location if you want to base yourself in an active area with a lot nearby. I used to go to the Starbucks in this video every morning from nearby and remember seeing this hotel. Regarding someone's question about how many people the room can fit, it is true hotels in Japan are very strict about number of people and if I recall charge by the number of people. So don't book two beds and show up with three people unannounced. A law recently passed allows hotels to just refuse service to really difficult people.

Hi Shawn! Thank you so much for watching my video! Yes, this hotel is in a very good location. Aside from being close to a lot of shops and restaurants, it sits right in Akihabara station which makes it very convenient for going around Tokyo. And yes, I also totally agree with you with how strict Japanese hotels are in terms of the number of people you register vs the number of people actually staying. The risk of being caught sneaking in is definitely not worth it. Thanks again Shawn! Have a great day! :)

Stayed there a month ago too; funny enough I never actually went downstairs to the Starbucks at all. There's a Sarutahiko coffee inside the Atre I went to almost every single morning, along with a Yanaka coffee across from the UDX building. You definitely can't beat the convenience of the hotel location!

@@FungusUSMC You make an important point about the value of a hotel that is super close to a major station. Finding your hotel after a long flight without getting lost and having close access to get onto various train lines is a huge plus for this place plus having somewhat larger rooms.

Thanks we are going there to stay in November, so this is great to watch. With the shower how does it work? Over the bath? Or do you need to hold it? I’ve never seen a shower like that.

Hi Max! Thank you for watching my video and for giving such positive feedback. I really appreciate it. I am happy to know that my video has helped you in planning your trip. With regards to your query, yes, you have the option to hold the shower, or use it as it is - the shower being held on the wall. The Japanese way of bathing is to cleanse the body first before going into the bathtub. You can sit on the stool provided and use the shower while sitting down. A small bucket/basin is also provided as some prefer to just pour water on themselves while cleansing their body. If you are visiting an onsen or public bath during your stay in Japan, you will find a similar set-up there. For the Japanese, sitting while washing is less likely to splash the soap foam and water compared to standing while washing. I hope I was able to answer your query and help you in my own small way. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! I hope you enjoy your stay in Japan! 😊

DId you get to stay there? There's a floor drain outside of the tub so you can choose to stand in the tub, or on the floor. The shower head was kind of difficult to adjust at first, but get it at the right angle and I was able to point it at me without having to climb into the bathtub to shower. You typically only see these types of bathrooms in Japanese homes, so it's great to see it in newer hotels now instead of the cramped "3-piece combo" style bathrooms where the toilet + sink + tub are all connected.

Hi Jec! Thank you for watching my video and for visiting my channel. With regards to your query, yes, the hotel has good sound proofing. Even if we can actually see the trains running just below our room, we didn't hear anything and we slept soundly. The hotel is a good base in my opinion, if you are staying in Tokyo. Hi! Thank you for watching my video and for visiting my channel. I really, really appreciate your positive feedback. With regards to your questions, the beds of this hotel were more on the soft side, which fortunately is my personal preference. The firmness and softness were balanced and just right, complimented by the good quality of the pillows and linen. If I am not mistaken, the brand of the mattress is Simmons. With regards to the sound of the trains, no, we didn't hear any outside noise. We had a good sleep despite the trains running just outside our room. Soundproofing of the hotel was good. I would be happy to stay there again in the future. I hope I was able to help you in my own small way. @@ericapentecostes7678 Hi, thank you for watching my video and for visiting my channel. With regards to your question, depending on the body size, I think 3 people can fit in the room. However, the problem might be with the hotel itself. If I am not mistaken, maximum capacity for this room is 2 adults, and Japanese hotels are quite strict with the number of guests. Anyway, I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you havent, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more travel videos. Thanks again! Enjoy your travels! 😊
