My brother, now deceased, had a UFO experience, although he refused to admit it. He was a US Marine, stationed in an air-support unit in Japan when it happened. In 1969, they had just returned from a 13 month tour in Vietnam. One of their choppers was on a night training mission over the Sea of Japan when the crew observed a light that appeared to be under the surface of the water. According to the pilot the water was churning, like it was boiling. Something huge came out of the water & began following the chopper. They radioed to base & the radar technician confirmed that they had a large target painted on the radar. Long story short, the object appeared stationary over the base perimeter before it disappeared upward at a fantastic speed. There were several hundred witnesses to it. There was also a blackout on the base & nearby civilian housing. Many of the witnesses were Japanese civilians who worked on the base. My brother always believed it was a US or Russian, new type of aircraft.

Me and my brother saw exactly the same ufo as the one in the models video about 8 years ago. We were smoking in our car at night and we saw it about 200 feet from us and about 150 feet in the air. It hovered for about 5 seconds then zipped off in the direction of the military base. We instantly knew what we saw and we’ve only ever told our mom about it because we know how crazy it sounds. 2 black guys smoking weed saw a ufo, totally believable. Funny seeing all this stuff come out years later.

When I was a kid back in the 80's me and my family saw something we still cannot explain. We were coming home from a night service at church. We lived in a very rural area so its very dark and not many lights. We turned off onto a back road and saw hundreds of glowing red lights above a tobacco field. My dad stopped the car to look. They stayed in the sky for just short of a minute then faster than I can blink they vanished.

I saw a ufo in broad daylight way back in 1971. My brother and I were fishing for bullheads in a small bay off lake Ontario , when all of a sudden the water in front of us lit up very bright as if something were reflecting the sun on it. I looked up and there sitting motionless in the sky was a dark metallic disc shaped craft. As I was watching it trying to figure out what it was, it suddenly shot upward in 3 stages so fast it defied gravity! I instantly knew that what I had just seen did not originate from this planet. It was a perfect flying saucer and we didn't have drones back then. I would guess that it was at least 40 to 50 foot in diameter.

In the 1980's I saw something very similar to what Howie described here. It was early morning in SE Michigan, on my way to school on the school bus. Our bus driver pulled in to the very last stop to pick up two kids that lived there before the 3-mile drive to the school. Typically the bus driver would pull into their driveway, pick them up, then turn around and go back the same direction we came, pretty mundane and routine. But that day, it was a bit foggy, 2nd week of October. She (bus driver) pulled into their driveway as usual. I was sitting on the right side of the bus, so looking out the window, I was looking north. Keep in mind, this was the last stop, so the bus was full of other kids. I saw several lights through the fog, and the fog was starting to thin from the sun coming up. I wasn't sure what the lights were, it seemed peculiar because I never saw them before. The way they were positioned was as if someone put up a football stadium overnight and left the overhead lights on. Then I noticed the lights were slowly moving, and they were connected to a structure that wasn't on the ground, and then I saw the outline of this massive structure. I remember just pointing out the window, and audibly yelling "HOLY S***!!!" ... and then silence. Whole bus full of rowdy kids, but at that moment, dead silence. None of us said anything, we all just watched this thing for about 10 or 15 seconds more, it was at least a mile wide, just hovering over empty farmland next to this house, and it was slowly rotating clockwise, going from maybe 10 degrees of tilt with the left side being lower to the ground than the right, and then once it became level, it took off at an amazing speed. It didn't accelerate, it literally went from hovering at a constant distance, to instantly moving up and awat from us at what had to be 10+ miles per second, maybe more. It made no sound, it didn't disturb the air, the thin fog on the ground. I recall our bus driver QUICKLY turning the bus around, and driving south back the way we came, and driving probably as fast as thr bus could. I also remember dead silence from all us kids the whole way to school, we didn't talk to each other, I don't think we were even looking at each other, like we were all just sitting in this bus flying down the road and we were all in shock of some sorts of this weird thing we all just saw and had zero comprehension of what we had seen. As an adult, I've worked in engineering almost my whole career now. Electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, even a couple of DOD contracts, and I have NEVER seen anything since like what I saw that day. I've never seen any man-made object that enormous that flies, and moves in such a way that seemingly defied physics as we know it. No obvious propulsion, no sound, no exhaust or contrails, nothing. Just something the size of an entire town that had huge lights on it that traveled in a manner that is inexplicable. Can't say what it was, but I've never seen anything that comes close to explaining what it could have been.

My friend and i saw this light in 2000 that we thought was a helicopter at 1st and then it started turning instantly in different directions as if it was light from a flashlight, not like an aircraft. It was there less than 10 seconds and shot off faster than anything i can imagine. I never seen speed like that and out of everything i seen in life, that was the strangest weirdest thing ever that still gives me goosebumps till this day. It was over the Hudson River in the area of Hoboken and Manhattan.

I was visiting an ex-GF in Vancouver BC, in the late 90's. Bright summer day and we were sitting on the back deck, looking toward Grouse Mountain, when both of us trailed off our conversation as we both watched an object come up the Fraser River toward Vancouver. It was bright, like a mini sun, and it moved slowly (slowly, from a distance perspective - faster than any jet would go, but slow enough that we watched it for at least a minute) up the river, crossed between us and Grouse, then went right over Vancouver and out over the horizon. I was listening to the Fox radio station and one of the little commentaries between songs mentioned that a few people saw a UFO over Vancouver. Don't know what it was, but it was definitely bizarre.

Wow, exact same experience my family had, except we were able to see more of the craft because it didn't immediately fly off. We saw the lights up ahead, thought it was an accident but when we got close we saw the craft just hovering and we were able to drive alongside it for a few minutes as it slowly moved parallel to the road. Then just like Howie said, it shot way far off behind the mountains in the distance in less than a second. It was a stereotypical saucer shape, red white and blue lights going around it, no noise or exhaust.

I find it amazing that In his podcast with Bob lazar, Bob described the way the UFOs fly and it's exactly like this. Not like you'd typically imagine one would, and how they show it in movies. What he said is that craft orients itself toward the direction it's about to travel and flys toward it bottom first.. he also claims the propulsion system of the ufo he was trying to reverse engineer in the 80s had a gravity powered propulsion system. I wonder if whoever is piloting it gets turned sideways or upside down with the craft. Maybe there are gravity emitters that keep them upright with the bottom of the craft.

Howie my experience happened in 1968 with a coworker - I did not tell anyone for decades after the original time because we were laughed at ---- and IF I had KNOWN that I was going to have to describe the incident, I would have had a camera ready or written notes but that doesn't happen because I was not ready and it happened so fast. So I saw something almost identical to the video Joe showed that the model recorded. I was on a flight from Vegas to Atlanta August 17th 2021. We departed McCarran airport and had been flying for maybe an hour, and as I was casually looking out the window I saw a silver looking, seemingly round disc that just flew past our Delta airplane perpendicular to the way we were traveling approximately 100 yards away! I was STUNNED!! STUNNED, I tell you!! I wish I'd been recording as I did record some of our flight. It wasn't even going that fast. It almost seemed to be floating on the air or kinda coasting. And we live around a airport and military base so we would know if a jet or helicopter would fly by because we would hear it. I saw the exact same craft howie is describing off the coast of Vancouver Island. Disc shaped aircraft that had bright lights all around the edges of it (the lights stretching around is what made me realize its a disc), it hovered over the ocean completely still for about 5 minutes then shot off into space at what looked like warp/light speed in an angular direction, it took less then half a second for it to disappear out of my eyesight. It was literally like how they show it in starwars or Star Trek but way smoother and cleaner, there was zero noise too. The aircraft was within shooting range thats how close it was.

Same experience here in Norway 2 years ago, first thought it was a large construction crane with lights up close, thought it was a strange thing to setup in the middle of the forest, but i kept driving thorwards it (at night) for good 2 minutes without it getting closer, me and my wife suddenly said, wtf is that thing, its way up in the sky. Long row of white light spotters, it was locked in the air, no movements, totally static, we counted about 10-12 round lights in a straight line (some unlit spacing inbetween the lights). My biggest regret is not stopping, but we had some traffic behind us on winter roads, kept driving, looked down at the road, then up at the sky again and it was gone.

I as well have had an experience. I was 9 my mother had just called me to have dinner. We lived on a hill and the kitchen window overlooked the hill side. As soon as I looked up after entering the kitchen there was an object hovering in front of the window. Smaller saucer shaped prob 10-15ft in length. All I remember is the "lights" being a reddish orange and before I could acknowledge what I was looking at it sped off. So fast it was like a blink. I ran to the next room because that window had a better view but it was gone. Probably told a handful of people since then. Didn't want to seem crazy 🤣

Driving home late at night after work, approaching a red light at an intersection at the base of a small ridge and saw what looked like police lights on the top of the ridge, like it was parked next to a house, but then it started going up, and went up until it disappeared. Years ago in my early twenties I was a security guard working a luxury complex of villas. This was when smart phones just started to come out but I believe I still had a flip phone. Anyway, as there was nothing really exciting to do with a flip phone in those days I was really really conscious of the environment, especially at a beautiful place like that. I worked overnight, and for most of the shift it was just me, but they had several manager guards that stayed on the premise and were on call. I didn’t mind taking, though I shouldn’t have, very long walks across the property (because if something happened which it rarely did, it was best that I was on a golf cart to get to wherever quickly). On one particular night, I was more than half way back to the office. For some reason I look up into the sky, and I see very low flying “clouds,” flying a bit higher than a street light. It wasn’t moving particularly fast, just slow enough for me to change my perception of what I was seeing. They weren’t clouds, they were more like thick vapor doing a poor job at hiding the shape of a transparent moving craft. Because they were hugging the outside of a very small almond like shape. The middle of the cloud or clouds, was clearly something solid but see through. There were no lines or anything noticeable, it was the clouds that were moving with it and around it that revealed It’s dimensions. Thinking back, I remember just standing there and slightly moving my neck as it moved by above me. Had to be the size of a sedan. It wasn’t large at all. I don’t think this vehicle was alien, but anything’s possible. I don’t have any proof but I imagined it to be a military aircraft flying where it shouldn’t have been. Because it to me was just way too obvious. If it weren’t for my interest in science and actually reading how translucent technology was possible even back then, I probably would have thought it was the wind. And I’m not a guy that chases or believes in all of these UFO stories, not saying that things like that don’t happen, they are just of little interest to me. Having said that, I didn’t get goose bumps or excited at all about what I saw. I wasn’t amazed or blown away. Maybe because of my belief that it was a military craft and that they don’t release info about certain things for decades or ever. But to me it was so insanely obvious that it was a flying vehicle.

Saw something, really big, outside Northwood, ND. About 3 am. I noticed the sky in my rearview mirror disappear. I reluctantly stopped, rolled the window down and looked up... U.S. AIR Force veteran, who has guarded just about every plane in USAF inventory....I never saw anything like this. It's size was tremendous, shaped like a triangle, probably 50' tall, 150' across the back and 200 feet off the ground.....and never made a noise. No air disruption, no motor noises other than my own engine, straight silence... We're not alone.

@@C.S.Sensei I was camping and my camera was in my car. My car was a good 15 minute run to get to and another 15 back. I didnt want to risk missing how it would take off. I've heard stories of them just zipping off into space so I did not want to miss it taking off. What it did was point one end up and just start going straight up into the sky like a rocket until it looked like a star in the morning sky, then just vanished. No sound.

A giant one flew over the city of Grand Rapids Michigan when I was a kid. It was metallic grey and composed of large and small square and rectangular objects. No one believed my Uncle George. I said I believed him. I was a kid. Disc right over the house. I was the only one he confided in regarding visitation. I asked what they looked like. He said they looked just like him but wore turtlenecks. This was a very rational guy who became obsessed with the Lady of Fatima story, looking for answers. He called the Air Force. There is a German-heritage ufo-abduction relationship that I’ve read in dozens of encounters. I read where visitations are tied to Germans on a crazy high percentage. After he died I had a weird encounter at the same house. I swear the thing looked like the USS Enterprise. I only remember it leaving. Other weird stuff that night. Anyway, years ago on mufon I read a guys report from California saying he swears he saw the same. I was in Kent Ct at the time. Kissinger lives right over the hill a few miles away. A few big ufo stories from that area and town. I’ve also spoke to locals who told me their own stories.

In like 2012, at night, on a flight back from FL to Buffalo Niagara Airport. We were close to the end of the flight and I seen a red dot in the distance. I just kept staring at it, and all of a sudden it started moving and shot under the plane. I was so confused but I seen the couple infront of me had the same reaction like wtf. 1989 in Puerto Rico. I was living there as my parents moved there from NYC. The power went out one night and I had a crush on this girl and I walked to her house and asked if she wanted to watch the stars. We went on my roof and I was teaching her about the stars, pointing out the Big Dipper. I saw, what I thought was a huge star that was out of place. She says “what star is that”, it wasn’t the North Star. Then, it got bigger as if lowering to the ground and it hovered for a few seconds. Then it did 3 zig zags at an insane speed and took off into the sky. Then we made out.

Similar experience, I am in my mid 40s, when i was in elementary school my mother and i were sitting in the front yard in LA at night just hanging out. We seen what we thought was a bright star that all of the sudden shot across the sky made a 90 degree corner without stopping continuing off until it disappeared, covered the entire visible sky and did the maneuver in a fraction of a second, she said "did you see that?" i said yes, she said "lets go inside" lol that was last we said about it. All these years later after serving 21 years as an active duty combat medic, seeing surface to air missiles fired in combat and remembering that whatever the thing we seen was so much faster and agile I am still stumped lol

I was going to share my story but it's much like yours. I was in my 20's in the 80's and was at a house party. Had to take a piss and the bathroom was occupied. I went outside the back yard to relieve myself. While looking up I noticed a moving light. Thought to myself "cool, a satellite". I watched it while peeing and saw it make a sharp 90 degree turn like yours. I put my head down and blinked in disbelief then looked up again, only to watch it turn once again at a 90 as if to do a U turn. I freaked, zipped up ran back in the house and told the other party goers what I had seen. I don't care if they believed me or not....I know what I saw!

I was getting gas at a Walmart one time and I looked in the sky and seen 3 bright white lights in a triangle formation. They quickly separated apart, came back together, then shot apart from each other again. I looked to the side of me and there was 2 other people standing there, I said “Y’all seen that right?!!” And all they could do was nod their head because they were so struck by it, as was I. It was super SUPER quick, almost as if time just stopped in it’s tracks 😅.

When I was 18 my buddy and I had just finished shooting hoops at the park and it had just gotten dark.. we sat down to catch our breath before going home... I saw it first.. a light shooting across the sky and stopping probably a mile high... I told him to look and he couldn't find it among the stars... BUT it suddenly started to zig zag in place, like vibrating almost.. and thats when HE SAW IT... THen we both felt like it knew we were watching it and that it didn't want us to... (we spoke about that after) and we watched it shoot at least 6 different directions SUPER FAST before it ZIPPED upward and disappeared. If not for my friend seeing it also, I would have felt like I was just crazy. All my life I've wanted answers. Now I think they are interdimensional, and NOT from other planets. I believe we share this world with them in other dimensions. Because it DISAPPEARED and we couldn't see it like we can when a satellite in space.

Almost 20 years ago, i was hanging out with my friend and we saw blue lights in the sky going very fast back and forth, left and right, or just standing still. They were like blue tic tac shape. We were looking at it chatting what it might be for few moments not really sure how long, when they just turn some kind of turbo and vanish in split second . We were trying to came up with explanation what it could be but came up with nothing logical . Nothing on the radio or news, we never heard anyone else talking about that event back in the day but it always stuck with me. And i often wonder about it. I seen something very similar to Howies sighting...it was in the 80's in Corowa, NSW, Australia... It was a band of light ( about 50klm away). It travelled up and down across the sky zig-zagging for maybe 100km but the nose didn't drop. So, it was bigger than 2-3, 747's but flew like a helicopter...Then after 5-10 minutes it shot away soooo fast and disappeared... 15 minutes later 2 air force jets flew over our camp site towards where we had seen the light's... We were on holidays and there was 8 people waiting to make a public telephone call and all of us stopped in amazement watching this huge light.. 5 yrs later at my school I heard a classmate telling a story of a weird sighting he'd seen 5 yrs earlier- above his head... It was the same night.. We weren't friends but it didn't take long to work out we'd experienced the same event...had I not seen it for myself, I would have never believed his flimsy story...lol

Had a UFO type ish experience a few weeks ago, was in dark skys in Warrensburg NY, was watching for satellites and saw a what I can only describe as a lighthouse beam in the sky, from way up, swaying from north to south with a blue like glow, swooping once and at the same time my friends dog growled and I said "did you see that???" She didn't but her dog who wasn't looking up, as soon as this beam swayed past us he growled. Never seen anything like it. Imagine being in complete darkness and a satellite high object sweeps a blueish white beam of light in a 180 degree wedge, fast like within a second... only one sweep and dog growling immediately during it. I and my mother were coming home from a Wednesday church bible study (This was a weekly thing). We lived in a rural community and we took the same route every time. This one Wednesday halfway home I see 6 to 7 small lights hovering in the distance over a tree line behind a farm. I got my mother's attention and I begged her to stop the car at the farm driveway (the farm was within viewing distance). We get out of the car and watch light balls move up and down and right to left. I soon realized they were a lot further away so, I started to walk. My mother screamed at me to get in the car. I had never seen her that terrified so, I got back in the car and we drove off. Never saw anything like that again even though we never stopped taking that route.

I live in Africa specifically Kenya, I so a UFO around 6 years ago just outside the balcony on my window at night around 10pm, It was just above the tree across the yard, it kept appearing and disappearing with a light, it was so fast i froze and asked myself what the heck was that. it dint make any noise and there was nothing around that would hover that fast even a drone wasnt to be compared because it was so silent and I thought it teleported from 1 point to another, then I think when it realized i was there, it shot up to the sky so fast It disappeared. These cases are also seen in Africa but never mentioned. Trust me Ever since that day i only told my sister about it coz she believes me when i tell her things. I believe there are unexplained UFOs all over the world and Moment of contact documentary is one everyone should watch.

My favorite times are when they descend over sacred sights around the earth, hover over them as a shining bright light, then shoot up into the sky. It is described happening in ancient accounts and has been video recorded happening in our times over ancient Aztec pyramids in Mexico. It also happened during the siege of Constantinople in 1453, a light descended over the Hagia Sophia and hovered over its dome for awhile, then departed into the sky, the Christians thought it was Mother Mary lifting the protection granted to the city for over 1000 years, the Muslims thought it was a sign that the light of the true faith would illuminate the building very soon.

I live half the year in the Yukon Territory half the year, outside of Dawson City on Indian River.. I looked out the window with a friend I brought up, we thought it was a helicopter except it was silent.. another friend has a camp less than a mile away and he rents helicopters a lot for staking ground and looking at ground from the air, but while it was a light, it didn't give off light if that makes sense... more like a large glow but didn't light anything else up outside of itself. It literally shot straight up in the air and disappeared after hovering perfectly still... normally it's daylight 24 hours a day, but this was early fall so it was getting dark for a couple hours before the sun comes back up, so no one else would of been awake and definitely no helicopters since there was no sound and you can't hover that long perfectly still. I've never seen anything like it before or since then... and this is out in the middle of absolute nowhere, besides Dawson (about 35km in the opposite direction), there's no towns or airports... the airport in Dawson closes at night because it's so small and the only flights come out of or heading to Whitehorse where you catch a larger plane that's actually a jet vs propeller... there's no military, I'm not even sure where the nearest base would be but we're talking hundreds of KM away, I'm not sure Whitehorse has one and it's well over an 8 hour drive going well over the speed limit. I couldn't come up with anything that makes actual sense even if it didn't go straight up In the blink of an eye disappearing.. we both had to ask eachother if we saw the same thing, I don't think we talked about it again. My dad growing up wintered on Indian River in a cabin with no electric, running water, etc... in the winter it's dark 24/7, no one else wintered outside of town even back then in the 70s, so once it got 45 below and snowmobiles wouldn't start, helicopters don't fly, etc, you're stuck out there alone until spring... he was walking outside one night looking at the Northern Lights with his 3 Malamutes, and he heard a little girl singing...and you live in Toronto, you know the colder in gets the further sound carries.. and back in the bush its deafening quiet, you can hear a gnat fart from a mile away.. he said it sounded like it was a 100ft or so from him.. this is the same river i had my experience on, except that was up river about 20 minutes, mine was right where Quartz Creek (runs north to south) meets Indian river (east to west).. I'm the only one he told that story to, so besides me he kept that a secret since he was 12 years old, I don't even think my mom knows about it.

Witnessed a UFO with my friend in Vancouver, BC in 2001. We reported it to NUFORC that early morning because we wanted to give them as much detail as we could remember right after the sighting. For about 3 minutes we watched what at first just looked like what a commercial flight (at cruising altitude) looks like at night but it then started to change speeds and direction, unlike anything we've seen before (no other flying thing I've ever seen). It made my hairs stand on end as we started to try to figure out what it could be. It then stopped moving and started changing colors from white to blue then back to white with a red ember-like glow. It then went back to white and moved what looked like up and away very quickly until it disappeared. The WILD thing about what we saw is that NUFORC received 2 other reports that had matching descriptions of what we saw which were at the same time as what we saw but one report was from a ground crew at Toronto's Pearson airport and the other was a dad and his son in Hawaii. Assuming what we all saw was the same thing then the object would have had to be at a height high enough for us all to have seen it simultaneously which you would assume would be well outside Earth's atmosphere. Still gives me chills when I think about it now.

A friend and I saw one in Richmond BC in 2015. Clear night, no clouds, bright white light about the size of a full moon with fog underneath it flew slowly over our heads for maybe 10 seconds until it disappeared in the distance, also made no sound. Just glad I was with someone when I saw it.

Absolutely! Sadly, most people probably checked out during his moments of reasoning. I think in a similar way and get blank looks all the time. The more I try to simplify and break down certain ideas, the more awkward the entire situation becomes 😅 Our minds all work so differently. I was impressed with how Joe worked through that.

I used to work at a company called Microchip back in the 90's in the Tempe/Phx area. I worked 6pm to 6am with lunch at midnight. I liked to go out side and eat my lunch in my car. One night I saw this glowing green oblong orb just above the horizon. I blinked, rubbed my eyes. Looked again.. and I can't describe the shear terror/anxiety I felt when my mind came to the conclusion that I was looking at something other worldly. As this thing slowly rose above the buildings it was hidden behind, It became clear that this was in fact a Fuji Film Airship (blimp) illuminated from the inside.

I work in the oil feild and let me just say when I was out there we recorded a video similar of what he's describing....I have the video and you can see the lights he speaks of and it just flys off in crazy speed!

Me and a friend about 25 yrs ago saw what i only remember as carousel on its side spinning. It was big it was about 10-20 miles away at night and we stared and pointed for maybe 30 sec before it disappeared. So yeah humans are not alone here. Some our man made im sure but i doubt this was.

I saw one... an alien thing, one morning very early around 1994, I was walking home alone about 6:30am after a night out, I was tired and hungover and all I wanted was to get to my bed... I was only 5 minutes away from home when I noticed a sound other than my footsteps... a tap tap tap behind me... I looked around behind me and there was this man walking slowly behind me around 12 inches tall who raised its arms up soon as it saw me and opened its mouth and made a wining noise that made me release any fluids I'd been storing up from the night before and I just pissed myself with fear... i froze to the spot and after a couple of seconds I then realized it was just the neighbours cat rising up to greet me.
