Some fighters are just not as bright by nature, like Brendan Schaub for example, while others, such as arguably the greatest UFC fighter - GSP - seem way smarter than this dude. So I'd say Josh is somewhere in the middle, which is average/normal. In any case, I'm sure CTE has nothing to do with any of this.

That guy is such a class act. I remember beck in the day when he was a killer and I was training at an mma gym next to him . He was hitting on my girlfriend at the time without knowing she was with me. When he realized that, instead of being an ahole because let’s be real that guy would have killed me in a second he was all nice saying he didn’t want me to kick his ass. I even sparred bjj with him. Damn some People are in a whole different level. I’m glad to see he is doing great and he still has that nice personality.

There's such a huge difference between the energy in a podcast with a dude like Josh Thompson and one with Kamaru Usman. Joe's much more lively. It flows perfectly. I don’t like ufc on espn. They don’t really cover ufc or mma as a whole. I miss the ufc shows and hosts on fox sports. It’s been a year on espn and this Conor fight was the first real promotion and you could tell they don’t know what they are talking about. Ariel mma show is on espn but it’s on late and only twice that one night. Rest of the week they don’t talk about ufc or mma. When it was on fox the talked about ufc on most of there sports talk shows not just on fight week. PPV are way down too

From media members, some with their own ESPN + show, that also talk shit about fighters. The heavyweight Todd Duffee was talking about how American MMA media members bury and talk shit about fighters all the time. It’s an American sports media throughout all sports that do it. SAS completely wrong but some MMA media talk the same shit too. Even the president of the UFC has made worst personal attacks on fighters.
