September 6, 2008 was the first UFC I watched with Mr. Rashad Evans. The Knockout out of Chuck was crazy phenomenal. Since then I'm enormous fan of MMA. But that is not the craziest thing. In 2016 I had a meltdown - physical, mental, spiritual. I gained 25 pounds, drinking every day, not sleeping. I stumbled upon JRE as I knew Joe from UFC. I heard about David Goggins from Joe and searched for him in the net. Man, Goggins just brainwashed me. The result - 30 pounds lighter, 6 packs, new job, new bigger place, new car, started painting and hiking and overall turned my life 180. No Rashad --> no UFC --> no JRE-->no Goggins-->no change. So let's look at the big picture and say Rashad had enormous effect on my life. Try to beat this story ;) Thank you, Mr Evans, you were and always be one of the greatest !

Yeah same man. I always remembered the “chip on your shoulder”, somewhat cocky and even judgmental version of Rashad. The Rashad we saw back when he was competing. Not that he was a trash talker or even disrespectful in any particular way... but he was extremely cocky in his pre fight talk and even during the fight. Hell, when Machida was teeing off and on the verge of finishing him, he was talking shit even as the KO punch landed. Then I remember when he reached over and pulled Conor’s belt away from him at the Fox desk, when Conor brought a fake belt to the desk (this was before Conor beat any big names). I had wondered how Rashad - a guy with such an elitist attitude and err of confidence - was dealing with life after losing so many in a row. He fell off in a way that must have left no doubt in his mind that he’s not elite anymore. But we never really heard him address it, he just sorta retired and did his ESPN/Fox work, without ever publicly addressing the losing skid/thoughts on his current competitive standing. This my first time getting to hear him talk deeply... honestly ever. And wow, quite amazing. He’s completely changed, a totally new man. I was always a fan of his, based on his competitive achievements and fight style. But now that I’ve finally gotten a chance to understand him as a person, I’m a huge fan. He’s one of the best examples I’ve seen of a person who greatly benefited from psychedelics.

Ive tripped on LSD one time in my life a couple years ago and what i learned during the fun of seeing shit is that truly, 100%, no matter how you look at it, we are all basically the same person just living in a different life. Ive never been racist, but after that trip i could never imagine being that way and if i had been that type of person i know that trip would of changed my mind. I remember having this profound feeling like "my neighbors living next door to me are just over there living their lives, going to work every day, watching youtube, playing videogames, etc". I haven't done any other psychedelics. I think a lot of people need to experience one in their lives at least once. It sounds like hippy shit but its crazy how much you can learn from LITERALLY looking at yourself from a different point of view. Ive been a better, more humble, person ever since that trip and like i said ive only ever tripped once, dont read this like im someone who is a "druggie". It really is something special
