Atta himself was an excentric weirdo who was doing stupid things almost as he wanted to draw attention to himself hahaha. M. Atta lived in the same street as a team of Mossad operatives haha. M. Lots of hijackings and a precious few outliers where there was at least some effort to crash the plane as a weapon. I lived through all those years and was totally unaware of that. This just proves the OP's general point was correct - at this time the expectation was that a hijacker would land the plane in Cuba or Libya or something like that. Thus you would not risk life and the possibility of provoking a suicide bomb or a crash. Walberg is full of shit! Exactly, everyone likes to think they'd step up & be the hero.......that they'd fight burglars who are armed with knives & a cold turkey, but would they? or would they think it is better for their family if they just let them take the bmw or the jewellery? I was burgled by 3 men, luckily whilst i was on holiday......but clearly, the fact that there was 3 meant they came heavy handed anticipating a possible confrontation. Breaking into someones house at night, knowing there are women & children asleep there, surely means that you understand the father would have to consider the worse case scenario of that you intend to rape & kill........but the law says that you are only allowed to use reasonable force & if you take out that baseball bat under your bed, then you are the assailant. it is ok if you take the knife off the intruder &, in fear for your life, stab him, but if you stab that intruder with a kitchen knife in your kid's bedroom raping your daughter, then it is not ok because you will be asked how you came to be in possession of a kitchen knife. For me, if i heard someone breaking in, i would rush downstairs & smash their skull into mush, but in reality, i might throw them my car keys & ask them to leave. I had a friend who was burgled, they shit on his dining room table, pissed on his sofa & stole jewellery from the bedside table next to his wife & he pretended he was asleep. We should all ask ourselves what extremes we would be prepared to go to to protect our family..........sometimes those extremes might be heroic because they are the most passive & opposite to our nature......it may be far more courageous to spend your life considering yourself as a coward because of your lack of action, but with a family, than a have a go hero without one.

Paul no, they didn’t. That’s impossible, and has never happened. Look it up you fucking moron. No steel frame skyscraper has been taking down by fire. They have completely burned up, but the steel remains because office fires don’t burn hot enough. And jet fuel exploded on impact. If you hate science then I get it, you probably believe the Bible is true.

Everyone wants to be the hero, but when something bad actually happens you don’t know how you will respond. You could save people, or get someone, or many people killed. Hard to know what to do?

Better to do something than regret it later. Mistakes are forgivable regret is not.

theskateboardfan If you get someone killed, you are going to have regret. You are definitely entitled to your opinion though, a lot of ways to look at a difficult situation.
