I think he can articulate them. Alot of people just don't have the attention span or willingness to listen to multiple ideas being articulated for more than a few sentences and then wrapping back around to make a point. Trump talks in this way too. You can make both Kanye and Trump sound absolutely stupid by just clipping a few of their sentences out of context and replaying them. But if you listen to their entire statements they make way more sense and hit home a point. Its a speaking style like how a comedian wraps up his bit with a joke that relates to his opening kind of gluing his entire set together. If you came in in the middle of the set the ending makes no sense and isn't funny. If you were there for the beginning middle and end its a super funny moment. Almost a shaggy dog story way of talking.

He's very unfiltered, and doesn't take time to develop his thoughts. When the whole "black people chose to be slaves" things came out, it was in the middle of a larger rant and in context, while not necessarily coherent or correct, made some sense and was probably the result of trying to compress a complex thought into a few words. Thoughts about the welfare state and the selling of africans by other africans. I dont worship the man. Dont even listen to his music, but when I hear him speak I do believe he wants to be a voice of free thinking.

Classic case of ADD being misdiagnosed as bipolar... When you give someone with ADD antipsychotic meds, it kills their energy, drive, and motivation, while making them more content with being inactive, plus the weight gain.... The condition of being very active, creative, and easily bored, is a personality set that evolved not only in humans but in countless other animals species from cats to honey bees. The adventurers, the problem solvers, the explorers, and ground breaking scientists and engineers often have these traits.. but when they present in someone that is not particularly intelligent, or separately very naturally-motivated it becomes a big problem, particularly in school or work, and in personal relationships...

I truly feel as though Kanye is a good person, who was driven to insanity by hollywood and the media. Yes he obviously has mental illness, but look at how composed he was in this video. And this was just before the shit that happened with Kim, Pete, etc. He was fine, a good guy. Then, for some reason, the media made him a target for all kinda of drama, he's dealt with unrelenting trauma for a year now. On top of dealing with all that with bipolar it's not a shocker he snapped. It just truly makes me sad that it happened, and that he's falling apart so bad trying to save himself

You can have a preconceived notion or idea about someone without knowing them and only judging media presence. I don't usually connect with Kanye but man do I feel this one. I was a quiet kid but very smart, honors all throughout school, but was I guess considered weird and my parents put me on medication at around 12 years old. Just a kid, no choice or say so in the matter, you trust whatever the doctor says as you're taught to do, whatever. Saw psychiatrist one after another, behavior health places, yada yada, put on more and more pills. Oh, this one doesn't work, here's this one. I understand hands down the system he's describing. They are nothing more than a suppressant. An easy solution to an "unpredictable people." 14 years later when I'm 26, I'm misdiagnosed with this and that, and some pill called Seroquel gave me Tardive Dyskinesia severely. Such a bad loss of function in my nervous system, legs and arms flailing around all the time. Psychiatrist said "oh go ahead and stop the pills then, it's okay no withdrawals." Oh wow was he a liar, I felt like I was dying for two solid months. Six months later, started smoking marijuana for the pain and the amount of whatever was going on in my head. Cut to now, I'll be 29 soon and have never been more productive in my LIFE. Physical exercise gave me most of my function back but my hands are kinda janky and weird, I have so many hobbies other than sitting around like a lump, I have gained friends and rekindled old friendships that I let die out because medications are nothing more than a numbing agent for the mind. Now I have plans, ambitions, goals, I go outside, I take walks, and the best part of it all? I lost all of that god damn weight that those pills gave me, 80 pounds gone through exercise and I'm no longer overweight. Screw medications

When he mentioned that we are being medicated at all time, it is true! There is two different fluorides, one that is naturally occuring in nature and one that is a waste products from wet scrubbing systems of fertilizer industry and are classified as a *hazardous waste.* They add the latter. They add fluoride into 70% of the drinking water AND the tooth paste. Mostly in to poor areas (probably to keep the poor people dumbed down) If people already brush their teeth with fluoride, there is no need for added fluoride in the drinking water. + There is a difference between drinking fluoride and brushing your teeth and then spitting it out. As Kanye said, fluoride calcifies the pinael gland (which some believe is the seat of the soul). More than that, fluoride also lower IQ in children and heighten the risk for many types of bone cancers + its a neurotoxin. This is proved in more than 44 studies, incl one Harvard study. Fluoride is the only substance that is forcefully mass-medicated on the american people, and they have no clue about it. *Reported effects of fluoride on your brain include:* • Reduction in nicotinic acetylcholine receptors • Damage to your hippocampus • Formation of beta-amyloid plaques (the classic brain abnormality in Alzheimer's disease) • Reduction in lipid content • Damage to purkinje cells • Exacerbation of lesions induced by iodine deficiency • Impaired antioxidant defense systems • Increased uptake of aluminum • Accumulation of fluoride in your pineal gland Harvard Study Confirms Fluoride Reduces Children's IQ: www.huffpost.com/entry/fluoride_b_2479833

Kanye: "I feel that Twitter is the safest freest mass platform to communicate on." Tim Poole has entered the chat.
@brianmchaney74734 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but you and I don't have experience trying to communicate via Traditional Media. Twitter is WAY more free than trying to get your message past a TV show, or a record label, or a "news" channel which controls the message 100%.
@brianmchaney74734 жыл бұрын
@E. Ray Sirhead ...... yeah, but in Traditional media, they won't let you on unless they know exactly what you're going to say, and then they edit everything afterward to make sure it fits their narrative. That's the world Kanye is coming from. Absolutely no control. Twitter is trying real hard to gain absolute control without people complaining too much.... But still, at least it is a platform in some sense.

And if you don’t care about either of those things, then ignore him. You’re obviously not happy with Kanye’s decisions, but his decisions don’t affect you at all personally. Who cares if he paid paparazzi? Who cares if he paid to go onto the news? Well, apparently at least one person. You. But stop caring about celebrities’ lives. It will fuck you over, until all you can talk about is how much you hate celebrities’ and their decisions. It’s a toxic mindset.

@@nadinewhite993 because humans will, inevitably, screw it up... God created this thing we call life and everything in existence.. everything in it's purest form is good.. but, when humans grab ahold and interject their ideas, and their agendas, and their theories, and their philosophies, and their craftsmanship, and their calculations, and their beliefs... that's when things start to fall apart. look at government... gov't is good in it's purest form and intentions: to keep a nation of many people organized, safe and secure in their needs.. but, when humans get involved and start making decisions for their own good and not for "the people",.. that's when it all starts to crumble. when kanye says flawed, he's not speaking materialistically,... but, theoretically.

I felt that about the medication bit. I grew up in the 90's when every kid was issued Ritalin and a Happy Meal. I always hated "Taking my medicine". It made everything duller, made me feel distant, far away, not like myself. In middle school, I stopped taking it. I had a conversation with my Mom about it, and she was supportive. I realize now, as an adult, my best qualities that make me succeed today are the same ones that got me in trouble at school. Being socialable, being interested in everything, solitary focus in the task at hand, but still able to take a step back and appreciate something else. Our culture needs to change the way we look at mental health, and the cure-all pill approach needs to stop. There are some folks who feel legit benefits from certain medications, and more power to them, but we need to stop trying to standardize the billions of variables that make each of us unique and blanket solutions.

@MegaSkilla I believe I was prescribed it around 1993. Statistically, that might be true. From my personal experience, most of my friend circle was prescribed Ritalin. I did hear that it made a big come back in the 2000's. They even tried to give it to my son. We opted for an IEP. He's highly creative, sensitive, and kind, and I didn't want to see that altered away from him. I wonder if there's any connection between early prescription drug use and adult dependency on mood altering drugs/ focus drugs like adderal, ambien, xanex etc.

Don't forget that he didn't mean this was something to look up to. He said after that he gained hope/faith in replacement of fear (which was the division of arrogance and confidence). I understood what he meant by not letting it diminish his idea of himself, but arrogance is just a short term fix... it's just having faith that you have the ability to face, grow from and overcome anything no matter your performance.

This is so interesting to watch, a centerist like Joe Rogan who is thorough and super introspective on his thoughts. Then a different type of Centerist like Kanye; who functions in the complete opposite way but ends up (for the most part) at the same conclusion as Joe. Super interesting to hear an explanation of how Kanye’s mind works. Love him or hate him he has a very unique mind.

I'm glad you get that my dude! Just because he does think different doesn't make him crazy. Listening to many of kanye's interviews its easy to see he literally cannot turnoff his art button lol. He will always use an artistic approach to explain things which can put him in a bad spot when he hasn't fully thought things through. Watching him with Joe was a great interview!
