@@1bcordell He said the hardest thing he has ever done is the one mile track- 100 mile race in 24 hours or less to qualify for one of the hardest ultra-marathon races in the world. He was 230 pounds and had barely been running, only lifting. Made it to mile 70 and was peeing blood. He couldn’t move. Yet he somehow ran another 31 miles after that at a 12 min/mile pace.

Four miles every 4 hours for 48 hours (including a run at the 48th hour) is a total of 56 miles. International measurement standards should adopt a new unit called the "Goggins," a unit of measure equaling 56 miles, but that distance can only be achieved through physical effort - no vehicles of any kind. "How far did you hike the Appalachian Trail last month?" "Five and a half Goggins'." "Not too bad."

@@NeckNoddin because we see something we can relate to with him. I also came from a poor family and joined the Marines after high school so I could go to college. After I got out I gained 40 lbs and lost a lot of my drive and motivation and after finding out about him and reading his book it's helped me get my life back on track. If you're not able to find him relatable that's ok, maybe you need different idols in your life.
