This is deeper than it seems. It’s our binding contract, legal document, and almost general statement as a nation. We lack the privilege of other nations that are based on a people group, on monarchy, or on some generational home land. So we need to represent our nation under a legal binding document. It’s a bit silly at times but the musical 1776 does a good job showing how this document was made.

History will show that MAGA was a people's movement and had it not been demonized by the media and misrepresented as "far-right" (even by Britanica) it would have swept our nation like a raging fire. There is a reason that Trump is being demonized. When people finally wake up they will realize that their own party has been keeping them down with lies, good vibes and dangling carrots. If they do not wake up soon. It will be too late and we will actually have a ministry of truth. That is the end of a nation.

Aborting a human at any stage of development without their consent is murder. The problem is whether you actually value human rights or pragmatism in the situation. It meets the fundamental requirements for life and has all the genetic makeup of a human being on day 1. Of you prioritize human rights that the cutoff. If you don’t and you want to look for some pragmatic line I’m the sand “can he/she feel pain her?” Or something else than you believe their are in fact situations which justify infringing on the rights of innocent humans for the “greater good”

@@MathiasMartinWR "Aborting a human at any stage of development without their consent is murder." Here's the problem with that belief informing public policy. There are real world problems created by the birth of unwanted children that no policy proposal put forward by conservative politicians address. I think liberal states can most effectively move this wedge issue forward by refusing to perform abortions on any citizen residing in a state that bans it. I guarantee you, if they're forced to deal with the real world consequences of their bans, within 5-10 years those states will reverse them.

At day 1 it's homicide. Murder is a crime defined by the legislature, determined by the judiciary, but it's homicide. It's not a dog fetus, not a cat fetus, it's a human fetus. It's a human, at the very least it's a human in the oven. I'm not an abortion activist, but it's not NOT homicide. You guys have better arguments.

there is definitely a generational divide on the right between old school conservative Republicans aged +50, and the younger more libertarian repiblicans that are America First MAGA types. The thing is since the end of the republican primaries, the old schoolers were basically forced to surrender control of the party, especially the campaign side, to MAGA (what with Laura Trump becoming the RNC chair woman, Turning Point USA taking over events, rallies being completely MAGA instead of "republican"). And from the looks of it, Trump has been consolidating the positions of the younger MAGA people to sideline, if not kick out, the neocons. heck a bunch of neocons are openly fleeing to the Dems now (goes to show the uniparty establishment in effect)

Both parties are saying they stand by the Constitution in their campaigns. Both parties are saying the other party will create an autocracy. You have to look at what both candidates actually did while they were in office. It was the Biden/Harris administration that created the "ministry of truth." The Disinformation Governance Board was created on April 27, 2022. The Biden/Harris administration encouraged Facebook to take down posts related to COVID vaccine hesitancy. When you look at what has happened to free speech in Europe, we are just one election away. It is scary and you should be scared, not by what people are saying, but by what they are not being allowed to say. Trump 2024

@Venezuelangel

@@DynamicUnreal Venezuelans' incapacity to own guns goes WAY back before Chavez. I actually don't know a time in my (Venezuelan) country's history when it was legal to own guns. Maybe back when we were a Spanish colony, but back then we literally weren't even a country yet. Maybe you're confused with something that Chavez did during his reign which was to remove assault weapons from the police. This meant that the police would fight with nothing but handguns, while Caracas' organized crime had assault rifles and many other toys you would only find in video games. This action marked the beginning of the criminals' reign over Venezuela, as well as earned Chavez many votes from the criminals he had benefited. He did this because even though he had the military in his pocket, the police didn't like him, and he was a resentful, immature shit, from what I've heard from people who met him.

watched the trump interview and it solidified my vote for him, literally was listening to the JD Vance interview while I was driving on my way to go vote early. I knew that I was probably gonna vote for Trump over Biden/Harris/Walz, but I wasn't fully on the Trump train until I saw him nearly get assassinated and how the media literally brushed it off and pushed Kamala out right after. It blew my mind. I am glad I woke up, and millions of people are as well. I am first gen. American, and my parents migrated here legally from Bosnia in the 90s and were lifelong democrats until this election season, they finally saw how the media was brainwashing the population. My family came here legally and had to go through years of due prosses to become US citizens, and now they're seeing people cut the line and get more opportunities they never had by following the LAW. it's deplorable. I am proud to be American, as much as I am proud to be Bosnian. Trump is making the hard decisions needed to be made to keep America great, safe, and dream again!

If you attack a pregnant woman and the fetus dies, you are charged with murder. Hello? Make believe you are consistent
@TheGreekCatholic
@TheGreekCatholic 2 ай бұрын
The argument is that a fetus is a "living being" but not a "living person" until a certain point. That's why it's a termination and not murder. Let that sink in. Who decides when a ferus becomes a person. It's not a science question but one of epistemology. It's either matter forming itself or informed matter. All organisms that are moving themselves towards their own end must being essentially be the same as their end otherwise they couldn't move towards their end by their own violition. The hypocrisy has no bounds.
@andypae
@andypae 2 ай бұрын
They can't even define clearly when a fetus becomes a person by their own logic with all their science and experts. If they could, we would have a globally accepted standard for abortion instead of it ranging from total ban to up until 9 months of pregnancy. In it's current state all countries basically just limit it with "what feels reasonable". There are several states within the US with no limitations on abortion. Someone is legalizing murder by that definition.

Having two men comment on abortion seems self-serving. Of course, guys want that option. No one is talking about the adverse effects on women's mental health after an abortion. Very few are talking about the negative impact on our culture and society having abortions. No one is talking about the men who wanted the child and were deprived. It seems that once we open the door, a crack on specific issues, we let the flood come in. I don't think humans can handle some actions, and we should keep the door closed on particular topics. Americans can't wrap their minds around their selfishness or their limits on morality/ethics. We tend to think we are these wonderful creatures and ignore the horrific things we are capable of.
