Fun fact about Kara. Mr. Is there most known song across the whole K-pop community but it wasn't actually released as a single in Korea it out performed the actual title track which was called "Wanna", they went on to release it later in Japan as a title track for there first Japanese album where it took the oricon charts by storm coming in at 5th place on the weekly charts and number 1for the daily charts.

OMG, the nostalgia!! Even though I stan boy groups a lot harder, Wonder Girls are the group that introduced me to K-Pop. I discovered them through someone’s page on this site called Cartoon Doll Emporium(CDE) which was basically like a MySpace/Facebook for tween girls. Through discovering Wonder Girls(Irony was my SONG, I knew the entire rap and rapped it to my parents who were so impressed they would make me rap it to everyone because they thought it was just so cool that I could rap in Korean 😂), I was able to discover Super Junior who I immediately fell in love with and 2NE1(ditto)). I was also there for MissA’s debut and Breathe and Goodbye Baby Goodbye were some of my favorite songs. And then when they came out with I Don’t Need a Man?? ICONIC

i’m pretty sure rough by gfriend was the very first kpop mv i ever watched. i watched it when it came out, it wasn’t my style and i had a lot of prejudice about kpop, so i didn’t look more into it. then i found bts in 2018 and ateez has been my ult group since kq fellaz and i listen to a huge variety of groups. also, kml. i am much younger than you. i got into kpop long after you. the one song that i now from girls generation is into the new world. nowadays, a lot of newer kpop fans from my generation don’t go into old kpop, but you can count on me to know older songs. i was fangirling over the older groups like 2ne1, f(x), 4minute, and others just like you two 😂. actually, i think my favorite oldy is perfect man by shinhwa. nothing can beat that for me 😌
