I used to sell receivers when I was a new seller. Find them all the time. The key is bei g prepared and equipt to ship these. If you do that, its not too hard really. One of thr biggest lessons I learned selling on ebay. If you are not prepared to ship it, don-t put it up for sale! It can be stressful

I added massagers, eye glasses, sun glasses and curling irons to my inventory and they all seem well and can be found cheap. Found a real vintage 90’s pair of Versace sun glasses for 50 cents that sells between $150-300…they were sitting in a bin of eyewear at a local thrift store. Just started picking up massagers and sold two quick. Name brand Vacuum parts sell quick too. I started out selling VCRs and combo units, some of those go for $$$

Of course you should do a part two! Thanks as always for your generosity of knowledge. Some successful people jealously guard their tricks & techniques, but to my mind that's an outdated way of thinking. Paying it forward is definitely the way to go. Good karma for you, man! I've taken your advice and expanded from coin store to "everything seller". Other than shipping going from super-easy to a huge pain in the butt, and the giant piles of stuff crowding me out of my little 300 sq ft beach bungalow, it's going pretty well! You've been a tremendous help. ☮

Regarding selling used car stereos, I'd be real careful there. Knowing about the well-known crime of car break-ins and even thefts makes some people want to steer clear of certain items that are sometimes from cars, including car stereos I personally would steer clear knowing what I know Because you just DON'T KNOW when you MAY be UNKNOWINGLY buying "HOT" property

Not JRide, but it's just math. Take the # of that item sold vs the number listed. 100 currently listed, 75 sold = 75% sell through in that time period. 100% is the obviously most you can sell.

I've been debating the sell everything vs niche store issue. My life experience in business tells me to niche but I've been told by far more exp sellers that niche-ing isn't necessary. I believe with my resources, we will push to the over 250K. I'm thinking doing a clothing niche store then an everything else store. What's your thoughts? Would that be niche enough to push into the higher ends of revenue numbers? Or niche-ing is more specific...as in only mens clothes, only electronics, only vintage housewares, etc. Thank you for your time!

I WISH I could find the items you are finding for $1-2. At my thrift stores they are priced at $8 or more. :-( Not enough profit there to bother. You make some excellent points about the variety of items to sell, however. I am new to this and what I would "imagine" sells, is simply not true. Until you look something up, you do NOT KNOW if it sells or not, etc. It helps to have many items in mind when approaching a store or yard sale because you have to pick up items you can make the best profit on, NOT what you have limited yourself to "specialize in." Oh, and it's pronounced "CAR AF" (like giraffe). ;-) Great video, keep 'em coming!

I havent heard u mention google lens in any of your videos yet, so i was going to ask you if you dont use it or (noooo way) were unaware of it. But, i just read the comment post about using Google Lens. Honesty, without my phone for quick product identification and a starting point for selling price, i would be wandering around aimlessly and stressed out, asking strangers "does this look vintage to you? What would you pay for this? What even is this thing??" And, how many other sellers have the same item for sale currently on all platforms. I like to jump into another sellers post, "piggy back" it, and try to one up him. If im selling the same item, i want mine to be more appealing to tge buyer. Better photos, description, dimensions, etc..and price it a few dollars less to be the bargain shoppers first choice.

Hi Jake, Good Morning... I have always had the question when I watch your video's about the "Century Link" Modem/Router. In past videos, you say something along the lines of: " I always pick these up, they sell quick". And... I yell out loud: "What is that, You Never say what ^THAT^ is!" AND on this video you finally answered my question = Thank you. But my question now is: "When you say that you call them to ask for a reset, what do you mean?" Do they provide steps on how to do it, or does it happen "Over the Air". Thanks!!! Your videos are fantastic and I do learn stuff from every video I watch. Thanks again!
