Your instruction on the memory RAM was just perfect and I was able to easily install my new Ram cards. Yet the hard drive is another issue, since the hard drive needs to be copied first and that is another step altogether. I hope you have a video on that.

Just changed the hard drive with a 120 GB SSD.Netook is now much faster. Thanks for the simple explanation of hard drive change.

I just got mine when Dell was clearing them out, and already upgraded it to 8GB of memory and put it a 500GB 7200rpm HDD. It is a pretty nice little machine.

I just did this, be careful, the 2 keyboard latch/tab things on each side are very delicate. I broke off the 2 plastic tabs on the right hand side of the chassis very easily. A few loops of electrical tape to the underside of the keyboard kept it tight against the machine though, along with the 3 screws.

I plan on upgrading the hard drive and would like to replace the cmos battery while the laptop is apart. Do you have a source for the cmos battery other than dell for the 1121? Thanks.

i have two questions. but first thanks for the video (y), ok i was thinking in change my processor... im not sure if is possible change the intel i3 330um for an Intel® Core™ i3-390M???and change the ram. but in kingstone´s page says that this laptop support a 1330 MHz memory... but in intel´s page says that support a ddr3 800MHz memory... so im not sure what support... if u can help me i will apreciate it. sorry if my english is not good thanks

Okay, so forgive the (possibly) dumb question, but we just got this little machine and are thinking about upgrading. Since it doesn't have a disc drive, how do we go about reinstalling the OS? (Be kind, people, I'm clearly not an expert!)
