Technically All Persona protagonist have canon names: P1 = Doesn't really have one but the closest is Naoya Toudou (He is also known as the boy with earings) P2IS = Tatsuya Suou P2ET = Maya Amano P3 = Makoto Yuki P3P (Female version) = Kotone Shiomi P4 = Yu Narukami P5 = Ren Amamiya

@@LeshawnKBM The protagonists of Persona are known as silent protagonists but there are exceptions like during their awakenings or when you switch personas. The spin-offs is where the protagonists talk full sentences since it’s not a mainline game. Makoto didn’t speak much at all during the original P3 games but maybe he will now.

Also, P5 Joker's default name in the game is Akira Kurusu (which imo is the better name lol)

@@naru-bunny nope, it's his name in the manga. Ren is used in the anime and other P5 media. It's like P4 (yu narukami or Souji Seta for the manga) or P3 (Makoto Yuki or Minato Arisato for the manga). Of course, there isn't a "canon" name (because of the fact that we can choose it at the begining). The main games doesn't really have a "default" name. And personnaly, I like Ren better, but we all have different tastes.

The song you were asking about is called “Changing seasons” the only version currently available in full is the og version, but the Reload version you were listening to only has a shorter clip of it available on KZbin. The original changing seasons is available on Spotify and stuff but the reload version is definitely better. So exited for the reload soundtrack to officially release🙏

The persona 3 protagonist has 2 names. The movies named him Makoto but before those came out, the manga named him Minato Arisato

Technically, there's also the stageplay name, Sakuya Shiomi. It's the same place we first got the female protagonist from Portable's name, Kotone Shiomi, which was later confirmed canon in Persona Q2.

thought I might clear somethings up for you: All protags (except Persona 1) have canon names that are used in other games. but in their own games, the player can name them whatever. so, characters refer to the mc as 'leader', or other things like 'him' and 'that guy', to avoid using their real name. the central theme for P3 is death. more specifically, 'Memento Mori', which translates to 'remember death'. however, more correct translations would be 'remember you must die' and 'remember you are mortal'. we all will die. death is inevitable, but it isn't something to be feared. make your life mean something before you die. that's why they summon personas with Evokers. Evokers aren't guns, but they are made to look like them. in order to summon a persona, one must face death, and overcome it. they don't actually shoot bullets, but it's the mental challenge of finding the strength to pull the trigger. one must be willing to die, in order to truly live. the only characters that don't have a gun shaped Evoker in S.E.E.S are Koromaru and Aigis. Koromaru has one on his collar, and Aigis has a built in one as she's a robot. Persona 3 is a fantastic representation of death. it represents it in all different ways. it's one of my favorite games. I hope you enjoy Reload when it comes out. Persona 3 doesn't really have a canon love interest. well, it kind of does but you can date pretty much any female character. same with 4 and 5. in the original, you had no choice but to romance every female character. but now, you can in fact choose. also, you should check out and react to the 'Reloaded: The Voices Of Persona 3' on Atlus West's youtube. they give a bit more insight on characters, and also gives the voice actors the chance to talk about the characters and process. love the content dude. keep it up.

The anime adaptations actually give the main characters names. The Persona 3 protagonist's name is Makoto Yuki, the Persona 4 protagonist is Yu Narukami, and the Persona 5 protagonist is Ren Amamiya but his codename is Joker.
