My Roto Grip Hustle RIP, my wife nicknamed "the mouthful" because it's so much to say. Fantastic ball and price point, very happy to have it! Do like the simple names tho lol.

Nothing wrong with surface changing - I personally had to absolutely nuke the polish on my Effect.

My Ascent showed up Tuesday. Immediately took it to 3k before my guy drilled it. Going to be an early game house shot killer. Gonna be decent in my sport shot league too.

I bought both the Summit Ascent as well the Idol Pearl. I heard so much about it so I purchased them both and bowl on a very hard tournament and they both rolled and hit like a freight train

Would love to see a battle of the tanks of all the brands. Let's see which tank from either brand is the king of the lanes. Storm, Hammer, Brunswick, Motiv etc etc etc

Names don't play a big role in my purchase decisions. But colors do. I have to like how a ball looks before I'd consider it. I don't care for the colors of the Idol Pearl so I'd never buy that ball. But the Ascent looks nice to me.

I just surfaced the new Eternity Fusion (overseas ball). My method was 2000, 3000, then 4000 grit.

how often should I resurface my bowling balls? ( after how many games?)

some say before every league, some say every 10-15 games. I usually resurface my balls when the balls start to get lazy, or if I haven't resurfaced in a while.

Names mean nothing to me. It's the shape/performance #1 and pour/color #2. Although, I thought that the Brunswick Perfect Mindset was ugly initially and now it's one of my favorites.

Name has a small effect on choice. COLOR is a bigger factor in choice.! If it doesn't fit my eye rolling down the lane it's not going in my bag.
