Hi, You are my favourite instructor/teacher and the video is really helpful. I knew about arrow function but a revision is never a bad thing. Video suggestion: As you said you will make a video on reduce(). My request is make a video on higher-order function like map, filter, reduce etc.

Amazing video. Thanks! I am new to your channel so I do not know whether you have a video on the topic, I will try to find it. You told us to suggest topics so here it is. I find myself struggling to fully comprehend 'bind'.

Instructor Colt Steele Developer and Bootcamp Instructor 727,101 total students9 courses228,229 reviews About me Hi! I'm Colt. I'm a developer with a serious love for teaching. I've spent the last few years teaching people to program at 2 different immersive bootcamps where I've helped hundreds of people become web developers and change their lives. My graduates work at companies like Google, Salesforce, and Square. Most recently, I led Galvanize's SF's 6 month immersive program as Lead Instructor and Curriculum Director. After graduating from my class, 94% of my students went on to receive full-time developer roles. I also worked at Udacity as a Senior Course Developer on the web development team where I got to reach thousands of students daily.

Hey great primer on arrow functions and its use. I am relatively new to JS and wondering if for a slight newbie, should I stick to traditional function declarations or proceed in using ES6 arrow function?

These online bootcamps like springboard are very cool, but here in where I live (Central/Eastern Europe) these prices make them absolutely not accessable. I wish someday there would be a course like this but also affordable for people like us.
@i810dumiclovich4 жыл бұрын
Balázs Makádi in Eastern Europe what would a good price be? Many mentors charge by the hour - very few mentors willing to offer free services to many people
@makadibalazs4 жыл бұрын
@@i810dumiclovich Can't give you an exact amount, but the standard junior dev salery here is about somewhere 12.000/year USD(+vat).

Very good video. It reminds me of why I hate JavaScript, but the video is well executed. It’s just…long, because of JS is full of gotchyas, and so much is or can be implicit. Too much imo. Parenthesis? Nah, no standards so linters will even disagree. Semicolons? Dunno fam, use them or don’t, or mix it up all good. XD
