If you are reading this, Manto never lived here. He lived in Lakshmi Mansion on Hall road. This is Lakshmi Building on Nisbat road. Similar name but different buildings.

Great videos, thanks for highlighting these buildings. I would like to correct you though. The building is Lakshmi Building and was the Headquarters of Lakshmi Insurance co, This building along with the one in Karachi had the Diety Lakshmis statue on top of it on a padestal. Sadat Manto was not a Resident of Lakshmi Building, He was a resident of Lakshmi Mansions behind Beadon road, Sadly His apartment and the building he lived in was recently demolished.

@@humayunqaiser1225 بھائی مجھے پتہ ھے کہ گورنمنٹ کی زمئن رھی تھی لیکن اور کسی نے تو دینے کی ھمت نہیں کی ۔اور یہ تو عمران خان نے خود اپنے انٹرویو میں کہا تھا کہ اگر نواز شریف نہ دیتا تو میں بنا ہی نہ سکتا ۔اور ہچاس کروڑ فنڈ اس نے خود دیا تھا جس سے عمران خان نے انکار نہیں کیا ۔یہ تو اچھی بات ھے کہ آپ پانچ سال بعد اسکو پوچھ لیں گے لیکن نواز شریف کے بارے میں یہ پالیسی کیوں نہیں تھی ۔اسکو ہمیشہ مدت پوری کرنے سے پہلے ہی سازشیں کر کے اتارا گیا۔ابھی ختم نبوت کو بہانا بنایا گیا ۔جبکہ خود یہ لوگ قادیانیوں کو پروموٹ کر رھے ہیں اس پر ویسے احتجاج نہیں کیے گئے جیسے نوازشریف کے لیے پورے دجالی میڈیا کو استعمال کیا گیا ۔پانامہ کا بہانہ کیا گیا اور آج تک کچھ ثابت نہئں کیا گیا ۔خان کی اپنی بہنوں کے معاملات آئے تو جرمانہ کر کے بات دبا دی گئ ۔اپنے دوستوں کے معاملات آئے دبا دیے گئے ۔یہ بھی کسی کو نہیں پتہ کہ بہنوں نے جرمانہ دیا بھی کہ نہیں ۔بہرحال بہت ساری باتیں ہیں جو خان کو تو معاف ہیں لیکن نوازشریف کی نہ کوئی اچھائی کسی کو نظر آتی ھے اور اسکی کسی بھی غلطی کو گناہ دکھانے کے لیے پوری فوج اور میڈیا اکٹھا ھو جاتا ھے ۔ پہلے تو میں سوچتی تھی کہ شاید وہ اتنا ہی غلط ھو گا لیکن اب کے معاملات اور اسکو ہر دفعہ سازش کر کے اتارنے سے تو لگتا ھے کہ بندہ وہی ٹھیک تھا ۔کیونکہ اسلام دشمن طاقتوں کو اسلامی ملکوں کی ترقی کبھی منظور نہیں ھوئی ۔تبھی جب بھی پاکستان بہتری کی طرف جانے لگتا ھے تو سب اسکے خلاف اکٹھے ھو جاتے ہئں۔ھمارے لیے تو نواز شریف بہت قابل عزت ھے جس نے اتنی مخالفت کے باوجود ایٹمی دھماکے کیے ۔کئی آرمی کے لوگوں کے انٹرویو موجود ہیں جن میں انھوں نے بتایا ھے کہ نواز شریف نے یہ فیصلہ اپنے بل بوتے پر کیا تھا ۔اور بھی بہت سارے کام ہیں اسکے کریڈٹ پر ۔عمران خان تو اپنی باتیں کر کے مکر ہی جاتا ھے ۔ایسے بندے پر اعتبار چھوٹے معاملات پر نہیں کیا جا سکتا تو ملک کے لیے کیسے کیا جائے ۔جن معاملات پر نوازشرئف دور پر شور اٹھتا تھا ۔اب کوئی نہیں بولتا ۔اور جس بندے کا ہسپتال بنانے میں ایک بندے نے سپورٹ کیا اور اسی ہسپتال کا نام لے لے کر اس نے ووٹ لیے اس کا رویہ اپنے محسن کے لیے اتنا برا تھا کہ کوئی مسلمان ایسا نہ کرے ۔اختلافات اپنی جگہ لیکن جیسی زبان اس بندے نے نواز شریف کے لیے استعمال کی وہ انتہائی قابل اعتراض تھی جبکہ جواب میں کبھی نواز شریف نے ایسی زبان استعمال نہئں کی۔اس سے انسان کے ظرف کا پتہ چلتا ھے ۔ بہرحال مسلمان تب تک مضبوط تھے جب تک انکے حکمرانوں کے کردار مضبوط اور اخلاق اعلی تھے ۔باقی ظاہر ھے ہر ایک کی اپنی مرضی ھے جسکو چاھے سپورٹ کرے ۔ھماری تو دعا ھے اللہ تعالی ھمیں نیک بنائے اور نیک حکمران عطا فرمائے آخر کار تو یہ حکمران ھمارے اعمالوں کی ہی سزا ھوتے ہئں۔
