Words always fail in those few, absolutely important things in our common Existence (capital E) as Sapiens. But let me be as foolhardy as our 2 amazing guys here, who get as close as possible thru the always- best medium of music. Let me give it the "college try" thru just words. This track and its live performance in the City of Angels is really something! Nothing less than a laserer-focus, crytalline moment that makes me want to have somehow been able to stumble onto this unique, ad hoc grouping of people. And to have fully participated in my geeky-ambivert way. To have danced with immediate strangers as one--each of us probably having our own understanding of what's going down. In life it comes down to our deepest relationships. Friendships, immediate and extended family--and if we're damn lucky to that one lover (at the time, or over a lifetime) who has grabbed all our attention, all our love, all of my desire-drive-affection-heart-lips-hands-balls+dick-full body-under-on top. And there is sweet union. This could be a 1NS, a marriage, LTR, fwb for a month or for years, Etc. There comes this time where both realize that instead of 1face:1face, there is two-facedness at whatever level. And 2-facedness happens in an infinity of types, kinds, degrees. Sometimes it can be worked out and we break up on the spot. Or we stay together for awhile for another infinity of reasons, then break up. Or: we stay together forever for the best, the better or the worse. How many books have been written and songs sung on all of that? Idk. You don't either. What our two real-live guys know, I know, and I bet you do too is that those moments of pure union DO happen. And even if it was for just one night or day, it was a GRACE. Maybe even an ongoing grace until we die. ...all caps intentional. Enough said, right?
