I played on veteran, there was a guy playing the slayer, we were at the end of the level, the three of us were in the portal.....he decided to not go into the portal went to fight a horde, got hit by an assassin and lost us a grim and tome. Then in veteran and guy clearly was speed running but with other people/didn't care, it was just me and him, I got leeched, he just carried on going passed left me to die and didn't save the other two members of the team who were just ahead. We were also nearly at the end of the level. Ego is just a no no in co-op - there are characters that will just get more green

Well they don't really make noise until they aggro, so you rarely hear them before you see them, compared to most specials like for example the Warpfire Thrower that cackles and babbles way before you see him.

Ye this is important tbh. ALWAYS side dodge the spit, but sometimes it's way better to back dodge attacks if you have the space for it, because you don't endanger your teammates that way (unless they stand right behind you for some reason)

It's great that you take the time to help/coach players into higher levels! I'm currently _attempting_ Legend, but get my ass kicked a lot of times. And not that many players give you pointers of how to play better, so I find it hard to really improve. It probably doesn't help that I'm not a hardcore player of these types of games (things like kiting, and the like, were completely new to me)... In turn, I try to 'pay back' by doing Veteran or Recruit runs, and hack & slash a big chunk of the enemies away so that the less experienced players get some room to experiment with what works & what not.

None of those are horde clear by themselves except maybe the halberd and that's only with block canceling. Individually they would get overwhelmed by a horde as though don't have high cleave. However together they can cover that deficiency. A greatsword would make their horde clear infinitely easier but they would lack armor pen, crowd control, range or headshot damage. Horde clear is the least important aspect of the game in comparison to the other damage sources needed.

As an ironbreaker main with shield/axe i hardly get most of the circles but i feel like i'm playing him right. I always knock back hordes so my dps can kill them and i focus on saving teammates. But i wonder if people understands that after a run when my dude has almost no circles whatsoever. Am i doing something wrong?

I wouldn't worry about it. The ones that don't get it will learn or will move onto another game. Keep asking yourself how am I contributing and improve on those dimensions. Learn new things.

As a fellow iron breaker main I understand what you mean. Ignore the green circles, you aren’t meant to do the most damage, or get the most kills. Performing your role and protecting your team is the important thing, and there’s a sense of fulfillment in that alone. (It’s more rewarding when playing with friends imo).

People focus too much on stat padding in this game to give a shit about higher levels of play. You're more likely to encounter players that move out of a safe funnel to get the last hit on a special and go down. Just to see a green circle at the end of the map. They should remove it entirely, imo.

Nah they should make it private tbh. Or maybe focus on role-specific things and make that public :P I agree stat padding is horrible in pugs BUT it's very nice to look at in regards to your OWN performance in regards to your role. Also the damage taken will kick your ass whenever you get to cocky, which I find keeps me from doing stupid things the next game :P Over all I like stats, but I agree that it's a problem as it is right now.

It doesn't tell you anything about your performance. It doesn't log your clutch saves. It doesn't log how long you aggro'd the boss whilst your team was killing a horde. It doesn't show blocked damage or dodged shots. It doesn't show you anything but "you got 200 kills", which doesn't take into account the fact you went down 12 times getting them.

hi j_sat, for the question on who should take the conc/strengths i would recommend either a far range or mid range as (from what i've seen at least especially depending on classes e.g. Pyromancer for stunlocking bosses in war camp and etc, or for bounty hunters as they deal a shyt tone of damage.) for easier time against bosses/mini bosses. Other wise i would honestly recommend giving them to an ironbreaker/footknight for cc. Just a personal opinion

Hey I have a team of me and 2 friends playing as bounty, the highest fire mage class and either waystalker or elf assasin, who is best for frontline horde control? Would zealot be better than bounty so the firemage can handle specials whilst zealot holds the horde back? Do we need to switch out one of the three to play higher difficulties, we have only just started playing veteran

I was under the impression that no one seriously took the regen trait unless they just didn't know how bad it was, the majority of the community iv seen seems to embrace the idea its a meme trait and im inclined to believe it from the last 87 hours of play iv put in. Seriously I cant tell you how many times iv watched someone die thanks to that trait, they go down to white health and cant heal cause all the group has is health pots and no bandages and then they take an unlucky hit and BAM, they're dead. Is there a situation where its preferred to have the regen over 25% chance to not consume health / 35% Health share / heal for a fuck ton more? The drawback of it just seems like too much, maybe if it just gave regen and there was no restriction I would consider it, but without the ability to heal yourself it just seems too risky, especially on champ or legend. Like J_sat said, thats something you should tell the group before the run starts.

Its REALLY useful for Ironbreaker. He takes such little damage, all he needs is a little HP top up now and then so it works wonders. He can also be the first to grab a tome leaving others free to heal. That said I wouldn't use it on any other class

It's actually usually the players/ classes that are supposed to hang back that get the most kills (Sienna / Kerillian) while the tanks go in and draw agro, so yeh. Sounds like they're doing exactly what they're supposed to be doing. Not being a team is running off yolo style or hogging pots, etc.

Were those two talents on different lines back then so you were able to have them both? Also why do you have 67 max ammo? my BH only has 59 i think. You don't have to move fast.. Map is clear, because j_sat is shooting everything. Check his solo gameplay. Slower gameplay is viable, fighting in open areas is viable. Just have teammate that's on special watch, during horde. Like j_sat explained, someone who's not engaging, but checking on surrounding. In open space, with horde coming from 2 sides, split to 2 man groups, stand 10m one group from another. Don't rush to another side to kill stuff instead of them, just keep watching for specials. Because 2 guys were killing stuff in front, guys on back was standing still, checking for specials and killing single stuff that was running around.

I have the trinket that prevents you from healing yourself to allow passive regen too. It's nice to mitigate the impact of unlucky hits throughout the match and I like saving potions and medkits for my other teammates. The oblivious drawback is how difficult it is to recover from low health. What do you mean when you say "never bring it when you're playing on ping?"

I tried that with ironbreaker on Champion but i really didn't like it. The regen is too slow to compensate the distance you often find potions. Also i gain more health with the temp health after kill passive. I rather use 25% chance to not consume healing after using it.

Wouldn't mind every team on Challenging, that kicked me because of complaing, to watch this video xD Tho they would probably get wrong idea, that Them and Team should rush like j_sat. While in vid, there're not picking 3 tomes and grims. Elf died, not cause of "regen trinket", but becouse no one was watching 1 side. Playing in a team (for me) is about keeping line of sight on teammate. To make slower run, but preventing wipes. Not single lead rushing and killing as well :p But I get idea, why j_sat is doing it. Wall hug is also meh sometimes. Parties tend to get literelly under wall. When they don't insta snipe gas, or there's sorcerer that manages to cast tornado, it's gg.

One handed hammer really enables a mobile playstyle. Use it with lots of dodge.

half charged attacks hit overhead, you‘re gonna do a lot of headshots with it, disabling anything armored in seconds. it also has great block movement and tons of stamina. a mixture of light and push attacks work wonders for hordes. only thing it lacks is boss damage.

What do you think about the scoreboard? A friend of mine is always comparing our scores, he is a bounty and i play waystalker. I have the feeling that he is always outperforming me in every situation becauses he is rushing ahead. The only good thing is he has always 'Most Damage Taken'. (We are playing Champion)

im not j_sat but you only have to look in the forums to see how much people hate the scoreboard mentality. you're there to play a role. you worry about specials while he worries about elites. even dmg taken is misleading, so what if a tank took thousands in dmg if he pulls the hordes etc to let the other roles play as they should.

Even so, you'd want the bosskillers to be focused as boss killers and the not-boss killers to be less focused on killing bosses, which is what you should be able to gleam from the charts. Basically, it's one of the few stats which lets you actually be able to tell what each person is doing, because there's only so few boss fights to mess up that stat.

If you haven't done so you should consider putting player outlines to "always on" instead of just "on", it really helps if you struggle with keeping up or knowing where your teammates are.
