"P" President not "JP" Judge President - Judge President is for leaders of High Courts. SCA is a senior court. Referring to the head of SCA as a JP is like demoting them. Even an ordinary judge of the SCA without a title earns more than a JP. I noticed during Justice Maya's 2022 Chief Justice interviews more people confused her title even the media, they referred to her as Judge President of the SCA. SCA uses President not Judge President. Even senior courts in the world refer to their leaders as President. Head of the Appeal Court in Lesotho is also "President". Even the International Court of Justice Justice refer to its leader as a President of the Court.
