to be completely serious, i actually did tear up at this. A few years ago, i was playing a lot of sinatra for my nana while she was in hospital, and i havent listened to much after she passed because it always made me emotional. And its why i held off listening to this for so long. But because schlatt is one of my favs, i finally listened to this, and i teared up again. The fact he actually sings it pretty well and takes it seriously helps, its a pretty good performance. But it made me think of sitting in the hospital with her again for six or so hours straight hoping shed get better because she was the closest person to me, playing oldies I knew she liked. Mom would spend hours there as well, or leave me there with nana when she was at work. And when mom would pick me up at night, wed go out to dinner somewhere near the hospital. I miss my nana a lot. Id do a lot to have her back.

@@IndoPhazrVX They know. They're saying that previous ai covers correctly *predicted* that Schlatt would have a nice voice, as proven by this video.
@SprinkCalSA4 ай бұрын
@@collinrogers4742 I think it's the other way around. The AI would have learnt what his vocal chords were capable of, so an ai should be no different than him singing. If it has enough content of him to sing well, then logically should be able to sing just as well. So while it guesses what it doesn't know it should just mean there isn't enough audio content for that person. And sadly Zach Hadel is a good example of laziness, easier to throw in hundreds of unedited clips to learn from, most accurate way is editing out the laughter and background noise, but 99% of the time that won't even be a background thought.

As silly as this is, I believe this is pretty significant. This cover shows that while AI is growing and its generated images and sounds are becoming more and more advanced and realistic, we can still choose something made with human love and passion. He really did do it his way. Rest in peace, "Schlatt."

An absolutely unbeatable way to respond to AI covers. Props to the fact that Schatt really just made an official remix of Frank Sinatra's My Way just to one-up the AI version, and he did it way better than the AI as well. Mad respect.

My mom absolutely loves Frank Sinatra, so I decided to show her this cover. When I first told her about it, she said that she usually didn't like people trying to cover Frank Sinatra classics because it never sounded like it fit. But after we listened to the whole thing, she said she loved this and that you sang really well. Of, course not better than Frank, but you get it. Wonderful job and beautiful singing, from both me and my mom, "Schlatt".
