There are so few times I can say this happened, but watching MatPat's reaction, I cried and laughed at the same time. Matt is one of those rare existences who add value to the world just by living in it. He's a shining star and an unblemished saint who always stays true to himself. The fact that he immediately wanted to make a Film Theory video about the movie after watching it is proof of that. Just hearing his manic and purely joyful voice is enough to make me smile, and it will always make me smile for the rest of my life. May he forever be as happy as he's made all of us.

Matpat announced his retirement to KZbin the day we were bringing our son home from the hospital, I was so sad to be entering a new and potentially scary chapter in my life without the comfort of his videos to keep me going like that always have.
