Maxwell Atoms couldn't have picked a much better title for "Evil Con Carne". I guess it makes sense because some cultures and religions frown upon the consumption of meat or living creatures, as well as their by-products.

Fun fact: Richard Horvitz(voice of Billy) & Maxwell Atoms(creator of the series & voice of Jeff the Spider) both have been involved working with Vivziepop. Atoms voiced the one eyed demon saying "wow! That was shit!" In the pilot for Hazbin Hotel and voiced Ralphie & Loo Loo in Helluva Boss. And for Richard, he did work on Helluva Boss as Moxxie, his dad Crimson, the bratty kid in the pilot, and did additional voices and also did voice director work for Helluva Boss

Tbh I wouldn't put it past people to assume that that would happen since she can have him do that at will. Like iirc it was stated him not being in the underworld and doing his job did prevent people from dying...at least often and I say that because he does do his job in the earlier seasons but in later seasons he just stops caring and just extends or shortens life spans at will.

Great video, probably one of my favorite series of all time. As for references to external media, one thing I rarely hear people talk about are all the World of WarCraft references thrown into the show. As a kid, watching the show and playing the game was a definite treat. I can't remember the episodes that they appear in, but I can recall three from the top of my head: - In the Shnissugah episode, Willy talks about " a level 60 warlock gearing Stamina" in the cafeteria - I can't remember where, but there's a scene where Principal Goodvibes is dressed like a barbarian fighting against a creature that most definitely resembles a Murloc from WoW - I can't remember where either, but a scene where there's a crowd of monsters where one yells "We love you, Grim!"; many of the monsters have designs representing WoW characters and the armor you would get from questing, from Forsaken to Trolls and Orcs, etc. I wish I could pull episode names and numbers, but I distinctly remember those off the top of my head and it was always cool seeing it discussed.

I remember in an episode of Billy and Mandy, Mandy antagonizes Grim and tricks him into falling down stairs. I believe grim was blind at the moment, with oranges in his eye sockets (might be wrong). Anyways Mandy smiles as grim walks to the stairs and falls down them

Were you talking about the Season 1 episode "Look Alive"? Because in that episode, Billy and Mandy gave Grim, who wanted to be hired for a swimsuit commercial, a makeover by placing pool balls in his eyes. Grim would fall down some stairs after Mandy slams the door and also due to having said pool balls in his eyes, with Mandy smiling when she heard Grim falling.

there is alot of characters in media portrayed as dumb who have those smart moments and a character that surprisingly has alot of those as much as people wanna disagree with me, is Michael Kelso from that 70s show, in the keg episode he does perfect math, in another ep when he is helping fix pong with red to make the paddles smaller he says something smart and red gives a kind of surprised look, he used to be a nerd and be good in school, the flashbacks when he had the headgear clearly show he was a nerd and good in school before hyde introduced him to weed, I find the dumb character that maybe secretly smarter than people think a great trope.
