Ina used to be a human girl and now is the envoy of a force known as The Void, with all her cultists becoming shapeshifters. Anf then there is Haachama, whose eldritch nature is even beyond her own understanding. Somehow Hololive is on a cosmic scale. And 90% of that lore atarted as jokes.

The mythology behind the Inugami is that they were severed, mummified dog heads dressed in ceremonial robes that sorcerers would turn into possession spirits that could inhabit and curse the emotionally unstable or weak. This game is just bringing back Korone's roots :P
