We went to NYC recently from NJ and saw the new train station. It is very nice. I have also taken the train up the Hudson to Buffalo and always thought I was on the train in North by Northwest as the view is the same as it was including the telephone wires 😀

The new rail station for Penn, Moynihan Hall, is superb! I'm looking forward to being there in early autumn for a rail journey far North. Thanks, as always, for the exciting video!

You used to be able to get food in the Cafe on AlbanyNYC trains. That was eliminated years ago as an "economy measure".

How much for the ride?

New York to Rhinecliff can be as low as $27 in coach with business class being a constant $15 upgrade regardless of the coach fare. I find that business class on the Empire is a much better deal than on the Regional as the upgrade in comfort is quite significant while the price difference is much less than that on the Regional.

8:30 should change the name from that disgraced Governor to something else. Bridge is ugly anyway. Looks like it was a cheap build.

It's actually named after Mario Cuomo not Andrew Cuomo, but Mario had said many years before his death that he didn't want anything named after himself.
