JSRF is just one of those games where you hear the ost WAYYYYY before seeing any gameplay
@0killabytes8 ай бұрын
You get to understand the concept of love while flying like a butterfly as you run into a funky dealer with a statement of intent. That dealer was hoping that they could shape da future once they find the teknopathic answer. You also get to feel nostalgic looking at oldies but happies and say to yourself "Like this, like that, like this this, like that". You get to go to a grocery store and meet someone at Aisle 10 and say "I LOVELOVELOVAYOU! Do you love me too?". You get to see them walk off while humming the bassline. You then pick up some bokfresh bokchoy and a birthday cake then leave the store. You walk out aiming for a victory beat. You get home seeing mom and baby-t sleeping on the sofa, choosing to let mom sleep. you go upstairs and turn on the radio listening to some girl rant about how they're not a model and that they "really likey the poom poom".
@Sonic-qc5cq4 ай бұрын
Then the radio start talking About the Future and you change to a more upbeat radio station because you wanna Rock it On so you hear your favorite song playing and start Rockin' the Mic but you ends up waking you mom with the loud singing so she opens the door and says "That's Enough".

That's because we never really entered the future. We are exploring some BS timelines instead of evolving into greater things as a society. Cooler things...people differentiating themselves instead of all mimicking one another etc....Dumbed down sense of taste....makes music nowadays not want to evolve....people don't want the future..............they want only convenience. They dont' DREAM.

JSR OST gives off a vibe of a world where teens and young adults freely express their profound understanding of love and freedom while still remaining young and unhinged and having fun. The first time I played this game, it confused the heck out of me. The gameplay, art, and sound effects were strange... but the chaotic music layered on top made it feel especially bizarre. Looking back, it seems as I learned to play the game, I also learned to love the music. To the point where I'll *still* wake up with one of the songs stuck in my head. This game was so ahead of it's time and never received the appreciation it deserved.

I had the same experience, at that age and being my first xbox game ever everything was so strange but intriguing. The chaotic music and atmosphere of the game confused me but in a good way that it made me want more of this game. The rollerskates, the graffitti, everything just seemes so mesmerizing even though i didn't really understood any of it at that time. But it sure shaped my taste in art style and music as well as all that was appreciated in the game. I still have alot of the music stuck in my head and bring me back to the time i would play this game for hours and never get tired at all. Not playing to get a high score, or competing against others, just having fun and enjoying the game itself in every aspect mentioned. I love this game.

2023 & 2,763,107th viewer. Thank you. This brings back memories of my late brother J (r.i.p) when he introduced me to JSRF. We had fun playing this memorable game. He passed before the 2012 version. Afterwards, i couldn't think of JSRF without the waterworks flowing from my eyes. Now, 12 years after our family's devastating loss (terminal cancer). I heard my nephew watching one of many JSR videos, familiar tunes playing as he was going through the list. At that moment, all I could do was smile. A happy tear fell and I still smiled thinking to way back when. So I searched and found your complete soundtrack and it feels like yesterday when we were having fun. I was his caretaker and on his good days we were peas in a pod with Xbox. Out of nearly 3 million people I wanted to express to you how much this means to me. My (late) lil bro is a timeless gamer in the console of my heart NES/N64/Sega/Dreamcast/Xbox 🕹️🎮 The fun he had helped his blood counts go up after the chemo days passed. His son is a gamer *Like his father before him* he invites me to sit and watch him game on his Xbox when he visits every now and then. I wish someone would be able to have the resources to remake it with a few added tracks of this generation as the next generation has made some great contributions. Thank you, Your new Subscriber 👍
