I'm glad they took away the dislikes, it was heavily misused, to troll, to hate very unfairly, to be negative and in numbers that does not deserve it, the only rating that matters and makes sense is the likes, it can't get heavily misused by trollish and overly hateful people, it can't get bombarded to make someone or something look far lesser than they actually are, it's very bad for business/businesses that are just trying to start out, competitors/people will purposely dislike to just hate for hating and will crash the ratings and know they are leaving their marks anonymously while it's being publicly displayed, essentially letting the hateful acts to continue discouraging others because they know they can and to leave their marks without no drawback, unless said youtuber/business ect. hides it, then it'll look bad on that said small youtuber/business/community just because they want to hide away the wrongful hate/thumbs down from ruinig their enjoyment/business/community when they know they don't deserve it because of trolls/harassers It was only time before the thumbs down of ratings gets outdated, on many things, not just KZbin, considering the outcry of hateful idividuals, trolls, and harassments, yeah... It's a no brainer to do something to curve stomp that from happening, bringing in a more positive community, especially for smaller youtubers/businesses, because they have to work for their supporters, which takes time, and getting hated on unfairly/by trolls is very off putting, but for KZbinrs like you guys, you have a massive number of supporters that greatly outweighs the dislikers, you are in no means effected by the dislikes, but you gotta think about the other smaller channels, the ones that are trying, the ones that gets harassed beause someone wants to bullly and harass them and screw up their ratings unfairly, it was ridiculous, especially having it stapled on everything you post/upload, and allowing that said troll/harassment to continue and leave their marks so openly to screw around with you, and if you tempted to fight back you'd look like the bad one, hiding something, and make the matter worse, which is no fair on the ones being bullied/harassed, essentially only empowering the hate/trolls/harassments, Now I get it, that wasn't the case for many people and they essentially liked seeing the dislikes, but they were just the lucky ones that didn't get harassed to the extent others have, instead of those that were able to build a good amount of support (in a quicker/luckier time span) to negate any negative/troll dislikers, all in all, that is just my take on it and why I liked and supported the idea of removing dislikes, it just helps the community as a whole and especially for smaller/starting to grow channels, encourages them in a very effective way to keep the trolls at bay, now they can only comment hateful things, which isn't as bad because it's more reportable on them and riskier for them, than to secretly dislike/leave their marks with no drawback, although yes they can still dislike but they aren't doing any damage because it's not being publicaly shown where they can laugh behind their lonesome screen about it day in and day out knowing it'll always be displayed on your content and nothing you can do about it, something of which of a negative rating you never deserved, only done in by more and more negative rating as said troll can easily make more than one account and make said content/channel look like crap, all of one singular (or if they stoop low enough, a formed group from a forum/chat to get their buddies to help bombard said channel) person/persons to ruin your hard and good work, giving off the false sense of negativity of your brand/company/content ect.

As a tool enthusiast it is nice to see a gift like this. It is well deserved. It is hard to go wrong with either DeWALT or Milwaukee for the most part. I get the whole nothing but yellow was part of a joke but it would have been nice to see other brands be considered. Currently I think Milwaukee has the edge overall of what Home Depot offers. Every brand has tools that shine and some that don't. My brand of choice is green but others might like blue, orange, teal, etc. tool brand. Would have been interesting to see how the purchasing decisions would have been made if they had professional tool user with.
