Fr Reehil's response to the man whose daughter is gay was helpful to me. I've already gone to the Courage website he mentioned. My daughter identifies as non binary and bisexual. She doesn't feel female or male and wants me to stop using female pronouns and calling her daughter. I told her I love and support her, and I do. But it's not enough. She doesn't want me to just tolerate her choices but truly accept them. I can't bc I know it's wrong. I told her we're created in God's image, and he created a daughter for us. Jesus didn't die for himself... Jesus did not have to die.. He was sinless.. He Chose to die for Us! He didn't have to.. He willingly laid down his life. Mother Mary had no sin either. Not even original sin. Elijah didn't.. he had original sin... yet He got to go in a chariot.. do you think he's above Jesus?... lol no. The consequence of sin is death. Mary did not sin. And so, she could not die. Her Assumption is also called her, "dormition," or ,"falling asleep." Jesus willingly offered himself up as the sacrificial offering, atonement, for all of our sins because He is perfect, sinless. Jesus is, both, our great High Priest, and the sacrificial Lamb, to atone and pay all debt owed for sin, which is death. This is my current understanding, as a practicing Roman Catholic. If I learn something new (from the homily on the Feast of the Assumption) that differs from this comment, I will gladly edit it. I am constantly trying to grow in the truth of my Catholic faith.

I’m not going to discuss whether or not intersex people should be allowed to participate in competitive sports, I don’t feel qualified to answer that. What I will say is this; approximately 1 out of every 1,200 live births is NOT male or female. This can present in a variety of different ways. A person may have ambiguous genitalia, they may have a combination of both male and female sexual organs, they may have chromosomes that don’t match their genetalia, they may have damaged chromosomes, they may have both male and fílmale female chromosomes ( mosaic pattern) they may have a malfunctioning endocrine system that can’t process the hormones that a person’s body produces. This has absolutely nothing to do with transgenderism. Transgender people ARE biologically speaking either male or female and are attempting to use some combination of social transition, synthetic hormones and surgery to pass as someone of the opposite gender. Imane Khelif is not a man OR a woman. She was literally assigned female at birth. Coming from where she does, it’s likely that she, herself understands much about her medical condition. She has lost fights to female boxers in the past. This is not a case of transgender activism and needs to be handled with far more sensitivity and compassion than Father Rehill is demonstrating here

@@DanWinterborn you do know many! They are not wearing name tags. The way of dealing with this in our society has always been to try and hide this. Since the advent of modern medicine; when this situation was obvious at birth ( many times it is not) the medical team would literally assign a gender (that is the actual language) and is where the term came from. Of course this term is incorrect when applied to non transexual people. We are not assigned a gender we are whatever our bodies say we are and that cannot be changed. After sexual assignment obvious transexuals typically receive surgery as infants. Being assigned female as opposed to male is far more common; in the medical community this has literally been explained by the axiom “it’s easier to make a hole than a pole”. A plan of care going forward is than made which at some point will involve artificial hormone therapy. It has been quite common even in the west, up to the present day for transexuals to reach adulthood without having a real understanding of what exactly their condition is. If you would do the slightest amount of research as opposed to saying things like “I feel like this or that is a better number “🤦🏻‍♀️ in the 90s and early 2000s there was a big push for transexual children to be allowed to live openly as transexual children and decide as adults what if any treatment they wanted. Unfortunately that movement has now been silenced because it’s incongruent with the idea that non transexual children should be allowed to “choose” these same treatments. 😞 Look all I’m saying is that people need yo get their facts straight. This should be a wake up call that professional sports organizations need to create some policies around transexual athletes. This is certainly not the first time this issue has come up. It’s happened in many of the recent summer Olympic Games. The bottom line is this; imane Khelif is not male, she’s not female either (although she’s lived her entire life as one). She’s done nothing wrong. She’s certainly lost fights to women plenty of times. Is it fair for her to be competing as a woman? I don’t know, I’m not qualified to answer that. What I do know is that, she likely knew very little about her condition herself, she was not purposefully doing anything wrong; but now she’s been outed in a way that at the very least cause the ostracization of her and her entire family in their community and at most may be putting their very lives at risk. To promote their mistreatment and spread misinformation under the circumstances is extremely cruel

Peace be. The person Mary who is a female is the contradiction of femininity; as the person Jesus is a male contradiction of masculinity. I have glanced at the feminine and masculine person and conclude one is power the other is money and they switch according to follies of the weak. The death of Mary.
