Thank you for this! Just purchased one. Pricey once converted to AUD but with the amount of overhead filming I do, and want to do, it's SO worth it. Thanks again!

What lighting setup are you using when filmming overhead shot? ☺ I was wondering if I should buy all in one overhead mounting setups where you can attach some lights on, but this one you reviewed seems so good that I'm not so sure now

Hey! I use amaran p60x, with umbrella and some stands. You could use a c clamp to mount some portable lights though! I prefer big lights to avoid harsh shadows

Thank you for this review, JSyntax. Much appreciated! I'm wondering if a person could somehow attach their iphone or such to the main pole so it can be used for both A-roll (talking head) AND overhead footage? Not sure if that makes sense. :)

Hmm, not sure if thatd work, you could use it as a closer mic, but how would the angle get the table and your face?

@@JSyntax Yeah, you bring up a good point. I'm still looking around and seeing that Neewer has a lot of options and customizable poles and gear. Thank you very much for responding to my comment. :)

If you have the space, and the money is the same, would you use a C stand over this stand?
@JSyntax7 ай бұрын
Yes if I had a dedicated studio, c stand would win likely
