I am watching this in December 2024 and live in Canada too! I just purchased a new Dell XPS 8960 and think the Noctua CPU cooler will fit mine when I get it. I am just wondering with those M3 x 25mm Grub screws that you show, is it just the grub screws you need and none of that other hardware? I found some Axial ones online that are just the 3x25mm screws and if that is all I need I might get those. An RC hobby shop should sell them as both Traxxas and Axial are radio control car companies. I have some smaller grub screws sadly!! I am currently still using my 2013 Dell XPS 8700 but figure it is time to upgrade to something that can handle Windows 11 and some gaming if I want to play a bit! I am a big fan of the older XPS as I was able to upgrade most parts easily other than motherboard....of course...lol! I upgraded PSU, RAM, rear case fan to Noctua and added a front Noctua fan...what a pain that was but it works. This old XPS 8700 is now limping along with all the highspeed world tech!! I need new and can't wait!

I got the BenQ halo based on this review alone and I can confirm what this guy is saying! There is zero bleed onto the screen or your eyes. I have a curved screen also, but benq comes with a extra bracket for such monitors. There is like 4cm gap between the screen and the light projected by the lightbar. Is it worth the 100 quid extra? Well I bought this because of the headaches I used to get from the screen, so yeah it is, in my case!

I have a pixel phone, pretty committed to it for the software features. My parents bought me this nor knowing googke had a watch. I dig it a ton so far but curious if you or anyone thinks the benefit of staying within each brands ecosystems is that much more worth it. I'm mostly just lazy and am fine with it so far. Heard the A.I features are samsung phone soecific and are pretty rad. Torn. Might just buy a cheap samsung phone as a second phone to have to use with the watch. The call screening thing for pixel phones is something I'd prefer not to go back from.

Would you reccomend an 4k ips 144hz monitor for fast pace shooters? I’ve read that the blacks on ips monitors are no where near as good as OLED but oled is so expensive

Unfortunately my watch 7 doesn't track my sleep properly I go to bed at 10 but it shows I slept at 12 which is fall as I go to bed I sleep instantaneously I am really not satisfied with sleep tracking even after resetting my watch.

Just got this light bar, I just set it up 30 minutes ago. It's a nice light that brightens your keyboard, mouse and desk area. I find that you can't really set it to project too forward where the light doesn't glow on the screen like the manual says because then I have it directly lighting my eyes, so I angle it a bit more towards the monitor. I'm pleased with the purchase, it's nice to have better lighting. Maybe I should get a lamp behind the monitor as well.

I feel your pain. The second gen oled panels offer some hope for the subpixel layer issue, but burn-in is still the bear in the room. A couple companies are offering 3 year burn-in warranties and Monitors unboxed is running a test to see how long before burn in really sets in. For now I'm going with an IPS. Maybe I'll pick up an oled as a second monitor, just for gaming later when gen 3 panels come out.

Question - can MS Teams be added to the watch?

I used to use the older logitech flagship keyboard the g910, and having gone to a g512 just for a short term, I've found faults and came here to see if the more expensive logitech keyboard is the way to go... I'm thinking not sadly. Too many comments about keys popping off, and one of the main reasons I'm buying a new keyboard is a fault left CTRL key on the G512 I own. I am someone at the computer all day every day but never in my near 30 years of using keyboards have I had 1 key go temperamental. I sometimes have to take key off and try to move the switch to get it to work again, and it's a modifier key in my gaming so it's a big deal. I think Logitech are losing the edge they once had. Top quality keyboards but the build quality is on the decline. I like however that G keys are G keys whereas I've had a Corsair or ASUS keyboard in the past, and I had to make modified key macros for g keys to work, was just horrible. Hoping I can find something better if you have any recommendations. As someone who really can't afford to just a keyboard any time, should I look for something I cna repair?

Thanks for pointing out the watch connection to the Samsung phone camera. All the advertising material talks about it being synced with the Samsung Flip phone, so it's good to know it connects to any samsung phone.

forget the google assistant. I followed the ADB way to install apk from appmirror, ignore the Google Assistant Go apk(not for watch), keep continue to install, it works. However, when I open the app, seems no mic input, just keyboard, when I input some info, it start struggling but find nothing. I changed to Assistant (wear os), it can install without warning, but when start, it kept asking for permission even I click again and again. Finally, I gave up, uninstalled both. Install amazon for smrat watches is working for voice at last.Better than nothing.

It is sayed there are only two layers for Windows and two for Mac. It is ship that way but you can freely redesign layers and make 0 your base layer and 1,2,3 your utility layers. By using the "Any"-key in VIA and entering for example MT(MOD_LSFT, KC_F) you can also implement home row mods but documentation on this is poor. (as long as you shy away from the C API documentation)

Good review. I bought mine about a month ago. It is working well and I love it except 1 thing: the Double Pinch feature. What an utter dissappointment. It is not responsive when it should be, and super sensitive when answering phone calls. That is: you just look on the screen to see who is calling and it automatically picks up 😵‍💫 only option is to toggle it off entirely, but then you cant use it when it is actually useful. Atm you cannot select the functionalities you want it for. I have contacted Samsung and they confirmed

Tatch is now Wesper. I had one of the patches fall off. My dog got it. Crunch. I don't like the sticky patches. Now (Dec 2024) it uses a pulse ox. Which for some reason, after four tests, still is not sending the information they want. I have an email in to Wesper now about that. Can't activate the microphone, because my dog sleeps with me, and she snores. My Apple 7 has too short of a screen, so I found out I could not activate the microphone because the STOP TEST would not show up at the bottom of the screen - apparently the size of the phone is too short to show that STOP TEST, which is needed to correctly close the test. I LOVED the in-hospital test I took five or six years ago. Never even felt the connections. Best sleep I have had in AGES!

For anyone still using this guide, the brackets have changed for intel to just be two notches, you need to use the first notch for most G5s.

Luckily, I found and bought a Type-C to Type-C _coiled_ cable so my drawing tablet could easily be placed between the two parts of the keyboard. (I never used the cable they provided, it's way too short lmao) This has been my daily driver for a year, and I don't mind it being wired to be honest.
