Maybe the point that hit home most is that when you think about it, yeah, JT is harder on his teammates than most guys and here in a season with a lot of adversity, he steps away when they needed him more than ever. Not for us to judge and certainly he is not the first player to need a break.

Personal days as an NHL player!? That's for the off-season at the cabin in Sicamous or the place in Kelowna. This reeks of a WAG getting in JT's ear. Honestly, having the rink, being on the ice, and being with the boys provided everything I needed until I stopped playing, and it was then that I got walloped with having to confront everything now that the hockey player identity was gone. A great segment for you boys to do regarding mental health would be on Corey Hirsch, would be a hell of an interview as well. His story is nuts, and he's someone that really is a mental health ambassador as I've used his story as an example many times.

Jt Miller would get benched for poor play And yet when 11.6 million dollars baby slacks off no benching, hmm

The 11.6 million dollars is well worth it since hes 6th in production in the league over the past month and a bit. Also Petey is much better in his own end than Miller is, even when hes off his game offensively. You also motivate different people differently. Miller has admitted before that he has needed time on the bench to cool off and Tocchet has said thats what its for. Nucks need both of them going, and really need Miller back soon. Having only one top 6 center, even though he is producing well, isnt going to work forever.
