Just bought a Zx10R and the dealer put a new JT chain and sprocket kit on in the sale preparation. Thought that was a bonus until I started to read all the bad reviews. I’ll probably change them this winter when I put my bike into storage.

I just ordered jt xr1 chain and jt both sporckets but now i started to see, more and more people's comments on JT quality issues and it makes me feeling very worry, not only for the money but mostly for my safety!

Hello, JT Sprocket has been around for a very ling time and many people have had great experiences with their products. We haven't heard many complaints about them.

@@alexanderal7714 If it makes you feel any better, I've been having my JT 12T front sprocket on my KLX140 for 9 months now. I have not had any trouble with it so far, i ride just about every other day and every weekend (if the weather is good) with no issues. i also trail ride pretty hard in Northern Mississippi (DeSoto Forest Trails) and have not had any incidents so far. id go as far as recommending JT sprockets to anyone of my friends that ride.

Wot way do the front sprocket go on the letters on outside or the dots on outside

Place it with letters/numbers pointing at you. So that you can read it

I used JT sprockets on my 2003 Honda shadow my chain doesn’t hold even tension

Did you change your chain at the same time? Did you make sure your chain has been properly adjusted or reduced proper linkage for your new sprockets?

Turned out it’s was the chain some links were loose some were very loose and some were tight .always used DuPont chain wax and degreaser

JT Chains are trash and simply don't last. I am thinking the sprockets are ookkkkay, but still not as good as OEM

@@darrylturpin37 stick with any of the name brands, but only get the 1st or 2nd most expensive model. DID, EK, RK, Regina, etc....all quality if you buy the top of the line or next up. The other models just don't last. DID makes some literally $20 chains for OEM's...Japanese are notorious for this. All the euro brands use middle of the line stuff and it shows and lasts longer! (Ive owned a lot of bikes)

These sprockets are bad... bought 2 and Both wobbling all over the place first one was extreme second one better But still not straight

Ive just bought a jt front and rear sprocket plus a new D.i.D chain as part of a kit for my bike from a dealer , front sprocket was spot on however fitting the rear sprocket and chain it seems it has a manufacturing fault as the chain kept lifting off approx 8-10 teeth then dropping back onto the sprocket futher in rotation Does this on every rotation , it cant be a chain or front sprocket issue as i have had to refit the stock rear sprocket and there is no lift on the new chain anywhere meaning has to be a fault with the rear sprocket (have also tried the rear sprocket the other way around to make sure it wasnt sided) some online forums say Jt sprockets have the writting on the inside However still lifted the chain both ways of fitting the sprocket. Awaiting for a reply from the dealer to source a replacement but i think i will pay extra and get a renthal
