Yeah, they’ve done really really well, I was surprised, but we made it through the trails, even though they’re quite big. Those modes are awesome that you can select.

We hit up the Hot Springs Off Road Park in my stock 2019 Silverado Custom Trail Boss with AT tires and it was no joke. But it made it through. I was shocked at what it could do stock.

Not sure if you could see in the video, but there was a tree directly to my passenger side which is why I had to do like a 10 point turn! And of course my runningboards kept hitting that tree that was on the ground lol. Guess I need to upgrade.

@jessaandtravis ya I saw that tree on the passenger side right when you got to that area. Definitely a tough turn in a truck our size. I saw the running boards making contact but seems like they took it pretty well lol. And ya this video helped me narrow down my running board options I've been trying to decide on haha. Can't wait for the next part of the video

You need to bring some Colorado 4x4 trucks up to asheville, nc and i will meet you all there in my 2023 velocity blue colored trail boss to go drive the trucks on hurricane creek trail that is loccated inbetween watpynesville, nc and cosby, tn. My truck came from the factory with 285/65R18 Goodyear territory mud terrain tires on it. It should have no problem crossing streams several times on that hurricane creek trail. Might look into getting a front differential locker installed on my trail boss.

I really like the looks of that trailboss and it's price. But I'm glad I got the ZR2. It doesn't get stuck like that. That front locker is a big difference. Did my homework. The ZR2 is way more capable.

Nothing that can’t be added. The Colorado Trail boss isn’t a trim that’s meant to be a complete package out of the dealership, it’s a platform to build what we want. Lockers, winches, tires, lifts, etc. no sense in paying for fancy multimatic shocks and a pretty front bumper if you are just gonna take it off anyways in place of something else.

Awesome video. I guess the downside of making them bigger than the last gen is they are a little bit tighter on trails like that. They sure are the two best looking vehicles out there though👍

A dealer told me it doesn’t matter if I have a 310 hp Colorado Trail Boss,,I can not get the 430 torque flash without it effecting my warranty,,IS THIS TRUE,,most of the dealers have no clue what I’m even talking about,,,,I have a 2023 Colorado Trail Boss, I have 600 miles on it can I legally do this without hurting my warranty?

Absolutely not, it’s actually covered under the warranty. It comes essentially with its own type of warranty because it was purchased with my truck, GM had my been registered for that flash. It’s all wrapped up into the warranty, your dealer is misunderstanding, how it works.
