Also has the trim packages in the wrong order. The trim levels for the Chevrolet Colorado are, in order from most basic to most high-performance, WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2. (JS)

I agree, and that's why I bought it. I looked side by side with the Z71 and I just liked the Boss better. Mine has several added features, including spray in bed liner, heated mirrors, advanced trailering, and side and front facing cameras. The stance is better than the Z and so was the price.

Slight correction: the WT, and LT are stock ride height with 7.9” of ground clearance. The z71 has an off-road suspension that gives it effectively a 1” lift and has 8.9” of ground clearance. The trail boss has a leveled 2” lift which gives it 9.6” inches of ground clearance. And the ZR2 has a leveled 3” lift kit that gives it around 10.7” of clearance.

Check out the GMC. You can get it for not much more and get those options. The GMC was like $2500 more and included those options. The only thing was vs the trail boss, you lose 4 low on the elevation. But unless you're doing a lot of hardcore offroading , you'll be fine with standard 4wd.

Bought a ZR2 2024 yesterday. 50,500 OTD. May have paid a little too much but was the best deal I could get between 4 Dealerships. It rides awesome and we're expecting snow here so I'll get to see how well it performs. Didn't get the bose speaker option but the stereo is pretty good. I have to learn some stuff still like connecting my phone to the truck etc but in my defense I've never even been in a vehicle with a computer screen before. It's basically the same size as my 2005 Silverado so mid size equals the older full size trucks. Thanks, very helpful video 👍

It’s worth it. The Bose sound system THUMPS. Even with the volume down my husband says he can tell when I am app our house. He has FOMO because his truck doesn’t have it 😂

I would love to replace my 97 1500 WT, move up to a four door from my two door. But I doubt the turbo max will live as long as my V6 has, it still purrs like new. Pricing is also an issue, the prices are too high. When I bought my Avalanche way back in 2002, I got it for invoice price plus $300 doc fees. All these add on fees, no way.

You didnt mention the top trim which is the ZR2 Bison, the sticker prices you showed are a bit misleading since the trucks had dealer extras on them but dont reflect in the price.

Been a Z71 man for many years now. I think it's the best of both worlds from pavement princess to off-roader. Only issue is mine doesn't have the blacked out door handles, even though all the badging is black. Weird.

My 2024 WT 2X4 gets 22.5 mpg city and 25.5 mpg highway, yes it has the 310hp and 430 ft-lbs of torque. 2 wheel drive will always get better MPG with the same engine.

They definitely underestimated fuel economy in the ZR2. I get around 19-21 highway and this is going about 70-75 mph. The city is accurate. I'm averaging around 18 combined. My 19 Colorado was averaging around 19.5 combined through the 5 years I had it. Definitely did better on the highway at around 21-24 mpg but it was a Z71 and didn't have all of the ZR2 goodies.

The Z71 wheels look like crap and so does it’s stance,,the Trail Boss is the second best looking Colorado with its 2inch lift and 3inch wider track! The ZR2 #1 ,Who would buy a LT over a TB LOL! Also your wrong the Z71 has a 1 inch lift! I saw a LT here in Phoenix for 50k and it didn’t have a sliding rear window, damped tail gate with storage and no tow package , i I got power seat, sliding r window,damped TG W storage , tow package , spray in liner , red front tow hooks on my Trail Boss for 41k payed in full! A LT 4x4 doesn’t even look like a 4x4

If it doesn't come with an optional v6/v8, it's a no go. rear passenger area is tiny for anyone over three years old. vehicle is 5-15k overpriced depending on trim. Hard pass...
