Jtag Tutorials #20 How to Change a KV (Key Vault)

In this tutorial I will show you how to unban your Jtag console by changing a Key Vault. I show the normal method and XBLSE method in this tutorial.

That does not matter. Just do what I do in the tutorial which is to get a dump of your nand with flash360 and load it into 360 flash tool it will tell you your region, OSIG and will have your original KV in there. The only thing you need is the CPU Key and if you don't have the CPU Key on a CD then you can get it from Xell which can be started by powering your console with the eject button.

Yes, although if it's not a Jtag then you can't do it just know this! Now the only way your KV could have been banned is if you tried to go online. Now you only need a KV to go online so if you want to stay offline and mod then you're fine you dont need a KV just make sure you dont sign into a profile that has live. If you want to use Stealth and go online then yes you will need a new KV.

Because You can extract the Nand on a retail console with J-R Programmer or Nand-X however to get the CPU key you need to boot into Xell and for that the console needs to run unsigned code. As in it needs to be Reset Glitch Hacked or Jtag Hacked. We would need the CPU key to decrypted the Key Vault.

Yes if your original KV has not been banned then all you need is Xbox Live Stealth Emulated to go online.

You can get online longer than 7 hours. The past 2 times I have been online the KV's lasted over 10 hours.

If you get account banned you can not unban it, you can only unban console bans with a key vault.

Correct! Because you are playing on a modded console so Microsoft will ban you pretty fast but you can play for a little bit at max like 7 hours or so until Microsoft catches on. Everytime you want to play online if your last KV was banned you need to buy a new one!

i meant to say great not just good buddy. your tutorial are well done. i really just want to know, MS when ban the Xbox on retail one it ban the key vault. why we can not exchange the Key vault for the banned one with another one on retail and gain access to xbox live? sorry for the noob question, new to xbox thing

I copied my kv.bin and cpukey to my hdd, but when I boot up again, I'm unable to connect to the Internet. It's as if I have no adapter plugged into the back of my Xbox.. Anyone having the same problem?

Modded Warfare I have a question for you. When you flash your Nand with a new KV. I know it changes your console info such as ID and serial #, but does it change the CPU key that displays in xell. Just wondering. Thanks

When you drag and drop the KV.Bin and CPUKey.Bin to the root of your hard drive, XBLSE can will spoof it and allow the bypass. I understand that, my question is: when you run out of XBLSE and the console gets banned. Will it ban the KV.Bin file that you drag and dropped or will it ban the KV that is flashed on the nand? (My KV is unbanned and it is shared between my demon/retail). I don't want the retail to get banned.

I got a question then, when I bought my rgh I was told it was good to go. There is no kv or cpukey.bin in the hdd (considering I had to buy the hdd seperate it only makes sense) but since Im under the assumption this isnt a banned rgh, do I need to get a KV and put it in the root before using stealth to go online, or do I just need stealth? Im a bit confused as to if the kv.bin and cpukey.bon ONLY need to be in there if you are already banned and need to spoof

No. You're if your KV is unbanned on your CONSOLE then its good to go. Just make sure you watch all of these videos and learn how to get your Jtag or RGH online, but some of XxModdedWarfarexX's stuff is out dated..

if your console is banned and you want to go online with it using XBLS then yeah, you need an unbanned kv.

XBLSE is not recomended to use. you will get banned within 6h or if you are lucky it will last 12h... you got banned instantly because you didnt setup the plugin right.

I know this is an old video but I've tried this method multiple times with no success, everything works fine until i try to flash the new updflash.bin file to the Xbox, then the Xbox just doesn't boot, i am able to recover the old flash and flash it to the Xbox again so that's not a problem but the new updflash just wont take. The KV seems fine when i look at the info of the 360 flasher tool, both the old and new KVs are type 2 and I'm sure I'm following the tuts correctly.. I am not using a stealth server or offline files atm, any advice will be appreciated. Thanksssss

XBLSE does not prevent you from getting banned. The fact that you're bringing a RGH JTAG on xbox live will get you banned. It's just a matter of time, before MS flips the switch. That's why you need a good KV supplier to play on xbox live

I know this video is old but the issue where he couldnt find his DVD info..Just patch your new kv with 360 flash dump then open the file up with j-runner and create NAND and choose your DVD version. The flash360 tool isn't updated to some SLIMS. Hope this helps. If you are lost message me on skype at xxexslayerxx.
