The problem is no matter how cool a design you have, or a nice spot to inhabit. You are inherently at a disadvantage not having a compound, also the moment you place external walls you almost always become rather conspicuous. Wish they would do something for stealth elements there. Its the most annoying part as I'm a sneaky solo player myself and the compound part just irks me.

Or is it randomized. 2: if you die, do you lose all the gear you had? 3: what do you mean when you are referring to a “kit?” 4: is there meta weapons and building strategies? 5: why do some people do it solo? Is it just for the challenge? 6: how do you win? 7: can players be permanently downed?
