We are all nerds here! Well spotted. It's a genuine GP which would normally be on a yellow K plate but the director of the film wanted a B&W plate for the shoot. Look forward to seeing you in the shop.

The raincoat reminds me of Michael Caine in the Ipcress File, intentionally I am sure! I’m a Yank, but if I ever get over to Britain, I’m coming down to your shop, hopefully I’ll lose some weight before I get there, because we can’t have a fat, American Mod wannabe, I would not be worthy of the clothes! I’ll try to bring my son too, he is a sharp dresser and still young and skinny! The voiceover also reminds me a little bit of the Mysterons from the Captain Scarlett TV show, Another 60s era British classic!

Thanks for your comment. You are quite correct about the raincoat- the style name is 'Caine'! Look forward to seeing you in Brighton.

I'll let the driver know, I'm sure he will be pleased. Yes, it's a '75 XJ 4.2 Coupe, glad you like it.
